An apparatus for releasably attaching a tail light to a vehicle body of a motor vehicle. The tail light is or becomes connected to the vehicle body in an interlocking manner on at least two interlocking connection points. In order to simplify the releasable attachment of the tail light, the tail light is connected to the vehicle body by way of at least one latching connection in addition to the interlocking connection points in order to establish the tail light in an assembled position in all spatial directions.

Apparatus and method for releasably attaching a tail light

An attachment device for a light strip on the tail or the nose of a motor vehicle is provided. The light strip is connected in a securely fixed manner at its free ends by attachment bolts. A further attachment bolt and a spring bias a central region of the light strip toward the vehicle, but permit limited movement of the light strip away from the vehicle in response to expansion of the light strip.

Attachment device

A lighting device includes a housing, at least one cover panel covering the housing and a plurality of lighting elements disposed in the housing and forming different lighting units. Four of the lighting elements are arranged in a rectangular arrangement with respect to one another so as to form a first lighting unit. The four lighting elements of the first lighting unit including two upper lighting elements disposed adjacent to one another and two lower lighting elements disposed adjacent to one another.

Lighting device

An adjustable fixing element, particularly for headlights of motor vehicles, has a setscrew on which a first screw element and a second screw element are arranged with locating surfaces which face each other. In order to create an adjustable fixing device which can be adjusted higher from the side of the plate facing away from the object to be fixed or from another holder, it is proposed to provide a handling aid on the first screw element which projects beyond its locating surface. The second screw element exhibits a corresponding recess in its locating surface for receiving the handling aid of the first screw element.

Adjustable fixing element

This invention relates to a side lamp for vehicles which have an opening in their shell. In order to provide a side lamp which can be used as a turn signal side lamp and as a side marking lamp, it is suggested to construct the side lamp as part of an edge of an opening, preferably a wheel opening, on the shell of the vehicle. It is also contemplated to provide a reflector as a component of the side lamp which can be designed as part of a cover plate of the side lamp.
