A touch-free flowable food product dispenser is disclosed. The food product dispenser includes a main body, a pump assembly mounted in the main body and a cover member mounted to the main body. The cover member is part of an automated pump actuation unit that can be removably mounted to the main body such that the automated pump actuation unit engages a pump assembly supported by the main body. The automated pump actuation unit includes a sensor positioned to detect the presence of an actuation member, such as a hand, in proximity to the sensor. When the actuation member is detected, the automated pump actuation unit actuate the pump assembly to dispense the food product. The cover member and automated pump actuation assembly are formed as a single unit that can be installed on the main body to convert manual pump dispensers to touch-free dispensers.

Touch-free flowable food product dispenser

A dispenser for dispensing a viscous material contained in a flexible package has a hollow body extending along a longitudinal axis, a first end with a handle assembly, an opposite second end with a dispensing valve, and a cavity configured to receive the flexible package. A piston is movably disposed in the cavity for engagement with the flexible package to force viscous material from the flexible package. A diverter insert is also disposed in the cavity and is configured to receive the viscous material from the flexible package as the piston moves and divert the viscous material to the dispensing valve.

A dispenser for dispensing a viscous material contained in a flexible package includes a body extending along a longitudinal axis that has a first end, an opposite second end, a cavity configured to receive the flexible package, and a handle assembly coupled to the first end. The handle assembly has a fixed handle, a trigger pivotally coupled to the fixed handle, and a rod extending between the fixed handle and the trigger into the cavity. A plurality of dispensing valves are positioned at the second end of the body and configured to dispense the viscous material, and a piston is movably disposed in the cavity for engagement with the flexible package. As the trigger is pivoted toward the fixed handle, the rod moves along the longitudinal axis toward the piston such that the piston engages the flexible package and the viscous material dispenses through the plurality of dispensing valves.

Dispenser for viscous materials

A dispenser includes a main body having a discharge opening, an open interior configured to receive a supply of granulated product and a discharge spout for dispensing the granulated product therefrom. A loading and dispensing member is constructed with a plurality of spaced apart receiving cavities formed therein, and is movably mounted within the main body. A portion control container receiving the granulated product and defining a first portion control volume is received and removably retained in each of the plurality of retaining cavities. Each entire portion control container is removable from one of the receiving cavities and is replaceable with a different portion control container defining a second portion volume which is different that the first portion volume. An agitator is positioned within the main body, and is configured for separate engagement with each of the portion control containers to agitate the granulated product received in each of the portion control containers during movement of the loading and dispensing member.

Dry product dispenser with internal agitator

A dispenser is provided for use in dispensing a selected volume of granulated dry product. The dispenser includes a main body having a discharge opening, an open interior for holding a supply of the granulated product and a discharge spout for dispensing the granulated product. A loading and dispensing member is constructed with spaced apart receiving cavities, and is movably mounted between the discharge opening and the discharge spout. A portion control device defining one selected portion volume is received and retained in each receiving cavity, and is replaceable with a different portion control device having a different portion control volume. A handle is frictionally engaged with the loading and dispensing member to enable rotation of the handle with or relative to the loading and dispensing member to sequentially control loading and dispensing of granulated product from the portion control device.

Dry product dispenser with replaceable portion control containers and ratcheting handle

A dispensing device having a housing capable of receiving a pre-packaged charge of pre-whipped topping or icing. The housing has an inner wall with a slot formed therein for receiving a rod. The rod engages with a pawl mechanism to move a piston in the axial direction to force the pre-whipped topping or icing through the outlet in its packaging. The pawl engages with the rod when it moves in a first direction and the pawl disengages with the rod when it is moved in a second direction opposite the first direction.

Dispensing device for viscous materials

A topping dispenser for dispensing serving portions of topping onto beverages and desserts comprises a housing having a front product compartment and a rear drive compartment separated by a partition. The product compartment is adapted to receive a pastry bag containing topping such that the bag is suspended against the partition, and a vertically displaceable roller is provided in the product compartment to roll down along the partition to squeeze contents of the bag out through a bottom dispensing tip of the bag that extends through an opening in the housing to direct product onto a waiting beverage. The roller is advanced downward in predetermined increments by a pawl drive mechanism located in the drive compartment and coupled to the roller by a mounting bracket extending through travel slots in the partition. The pawl drive mechanism is actuated by an operating lever pivotally mounted on the housing.

Topping dispenser

A dispenser for use in dispensing a selected volume of a granulated, dry product. The dispenser includes a main body having an open interior that receives the supply of granulated products to be dispensed. A loading and dispensing member is positioned to receive the granulated product within a receiving cavity formed as part of the loading and dispensing member. A portion control member is selectively positioned within the receiving cavity. The position of the portion control member can be adjusted to vary the portion volume received within the receiving cavity between the portion control member and an open end of the receiving cavity. Once the portion volume has been received within the receiving cavity, the loading and dispensing member is moved to the dispensing position to dispense the portion volume. In this manner, a known, selected portion volume can be dispensed from the dispenser.

Dry product dispenser with portion control

A food processing vat having an outer shell and an inner vessel to contain a food product with a chamber therebetween includes a contoured bottom having a high point and a low point wherein the food product naturally gravitates toward the low point which a drain may be connected for draining the food product from the vessel. Agitation means in the vessel include a lower blade assembly which is adapted to conform substantially to the contoured bottom of the vessel. Heating means disposed in the chamber between the vessel and the outer shell provide for uniform heating of the vessel and the food product contained therein.
