The present disclosure relates to a driving system for an on-load tap changer, comprising a vacuum interrupter driving mechanism configured to drive a vacuum interrupter of the on-load tap changer, an energy accumulation mechanism mechanically coupled with the vacuum interrupter driving mechanism, and a flywheel mechanism mechanically coupled with the vacuum interrupter driving mechanism. The flywheel mechanism comprises a flywheel. The energy accumulation mechanism is mechanically coupled with a primary driving unit and is configured to accumulate and release energy for combined motion of the vacuum interrupter driving mechanism and the flywheel mechanism. The vacuum interrupter driving mechanism and the flywheel mechanism are arranged along a main driving axis and the flywheel is concentrically arranged around the main driving axis.

Driving system for an on-load tap changer

A system for controlling a vacuum interrupter for a power diverter switch comprises a main driving shaft which is configured to drive the control cam. The system further comprises the vacuum interrupter which is configured to separate electrical contacts in a vacuum by use of a contact rod, and a transmission unit which is configured to transmit the force generated by the main driving shaft to the contact rod. The transmission unit comprises a lever mechanism with a plurality of rollable guiding elements and a rotatable fork-shaped lever, the lever mechanism is coupled to both the control cam and the contact rod of the vacuum interrupter such that a rotation of the control cam generated by the main driving shaft causes a movement of the contact rod due to a guided rotation of the fork-shaped lever by means of rolling of the guiding elements.

A switching system for an on-load tap changer includes: a Geneva mechanism, wherein the Geneva mechanism includes: a rotatable ring with a recess, a connector, the connector being rotatable together with the rotatable ring to electrically connect with a tap of the tap changer, and a rotatable driving wheel, wherein the driving wheel comprises a holding disk and a lever, the holding disk being rotatable around a longitudinal axis and wherein the lever is slidable radial to the longitudinal axis relative to the holding disk, and wherein the lever is coupleable with the recess to rotate the rotatable ring.

A contact unit for an on-load tap changer includes a connector body and a contact holder coupled to each other, wherein the connector body is configured to connect the contact holder to a contact of the on-load tap changer. The contact unit further includes a contact element coupled to the contact holder and configured to make electrical contact to a contact element of a contact device for the on-load tap changer. The contact unit further includes drive and guiding features coupled to the contact holder such that the contact element is movable driven and linearly guided in a direction away from the connector body.
