The present disclosure relates to computer-implemented methods, software, and systems for identifying trends in the behavior of execution of services in a cloud platform environment and support alert triggering for expected outages prior their occurrence. Metrics data for performance of the cloud platform is continuously obtained. Based on evaluation of the obtained metrics data, the performance of the cloud platform is tracked over time to identify a trend in a performance of a first service on the cloud platform. The identified trend in the performance is compared with a current performance rate of the first service. Based on an evaluated difference between the current performance rate and the identified trend, the difference is classified into an issue-reporting level associated with a prediction for an outage at the first service. A notification for the trend is reported.

Degradation engine execution triggering alerts for outages

The present disclosure relates to computer-implemented methods, software, and systems for detecting isolated zones in a cloud platform. Aggregated data for network connectivity status of web agents at the cloud platform is iteratively collected at a health service. The aggregated data is generated based on network call log data for external accessibility of the web agents. The web agents run at different network segments of the cloud platform. The network call log data is generated based on executed network calls issued from one or more external web agents running outside of the cloud platform and directed to each of the web agents at the cloud platform. A poll request for a network connectivity status for inbound connectivity for an entity running on the cloud platform is received. In response to evaluating the collected aggregated data, the network connectivity status for inbound connectivity for the entity is provided.

Reverse health checks

A method for validating a traffic management pool that includes a first traffic management device and a second traffic management device may include forming the traffic management pool. The traffic management pool may be formed by modifying a configuration of the first traffic management device to route requests for a cloud-based application based at least on an availability of a first instance of the cloud-based application at a first cloud platform landscape. Synchronicity within the traffic management pool may be validated based on the modification to the configuration of the first traffic management device being propagated to the second traffic management device such that the second traffic management device is also configured to route the requests for the cloud-based application based on the availability of the first instance of the cloud-based application. Validation of a traffic management pool

A disaster recovery data store may contain an operator-defined parallel account failover value. A disaster recovery service platform may establish a primary region as an active region and determine that a potential disaster has occurred in connection with the primary region. A warm-up process may be initiated causing a pool of virtual machines to begin execution at a secondary region. The platform may then determine that an actual disaster has occurred in connection with the primary region and simultaneously execute disaster recovery failover procedures from the primary region to the secondary region for multiple accounts in parallel based on the operator-defined parallel account failover value. Before all failover procedures are complete, the platform may transmit at least one intermediate failover report. After all failover procedures are complete, the platform may transmit a final failover report and establish the secondary region as the active region using the pool of virtual machines.
