Configuring an on-board maintenance information system in an aircraft, the information system comprising a first communication interface and a second communication interface, a protected domain, an open domain, a first maintenance application module of the protected domain, a second maintenance application module of the open domain, a first data filtering module, and a second data filtering module. After having determined a mode of connection for a mobile maintenance terminal to the information system, the second data filtering module is configured to filter data exchanged between the first communication interface and the maintenance application module of the open domain if the terminal is directly connected to the information system via the second interface. If the terminal is connected to the information system via an information system on the ground and via the first communication interface, the second data filtering module is configured to filter data exchanged between maintenance application modules of the protected and open domains.

Method and device for configuring an on-board maintenance information system in an aircraft

A method and device for accessing maintenance functions of an aircraft from a mobile maintenance terminal. First, the situation of the aircraft is determined. Then, if this situation allows a mobile maintenance terminal to access a maintenance information system on the ground and the information system of the aircraft, a connection is established between the mobile maintenance terminal and the maintenance information system on the ground and at least one maintenance command intended for the information system of the aircraft is transmitted to the maintenance information system on the ground. If this situation allows the mobile maintenance terminal to access only the information system of the aircraft, a connection is established between the mobile maintenance terminal and the information system of the aircraft and at least one maintenance command is transmitted to the information system of the aircraft.

Method and device for accessing maintenance functions of an aircraft from a mobile maintenance terminal

A method for testing or evaluating the configuration of at least one equipment item in an aircraft includes receiving at least one command to test or evaluate the configuration of the at least one equipment item via a network interface of a less secure part of an on-board information system of the aircraft. The network interface is capable of exchanging data with an information system external to the aircraft. The method also includes encoding the at least one received command and transmitting the encoded command to the secured part of the information system of the aircraft. In response to reception of the encoded command, the at least one encoded test command is filtered. In response to the filtering, the encoded command is translated and executed in relation to at least one first maintenance function of the secured part.

Method and device for automating procedures for verifying equipment in an aircraft

A method executes at least one instruction in an on-board maintenance device from a remote system connected to the maintenance device via a communication network. The method includes receiving at least one datum representative of at least one command having a correspondence with the at least one instruction. The method also includes filtering the at least one received datum. In response to the filtering, if the at least one received datum represents a valid command, the method includes converting the at least one received datum to identify the at least one instruction.
