A connector for a medical use comprising a fitting secured to a chamber, the fitting being provided at its center with a needle encased at least in its terminal portion in the recess of an elastic seal having, across the thickness of its free end, a slit or the like, the elastic seal being further provided with a ring. A terminal end of the elastic seal has a deformable peripheral rim overlapping the end of said ring.

Connector for medical use

A male luer medical connector includes a needle having a distal portion with a hole opening and contained in the cavity of a resilient seal. The needle has, apart from its distal portion, an additional hole. The seal and needle are shaped so that when the connector is connected, the compressed seal forms with the needle, immediately upstream of the upper level of the additional hole, a sealed cavity for receiving by way of passage in the additional hole a part of the fluid contained in the needle; and when the seal is released the cavity contains fluid when the lateral hole opening into the needle is sealed, and the portions of the seal, downstream and upstream of the cavity respectively, as well as the additional hole, are shaped so the downstream portion closes a lateral hole while the same cavity continues to discharge the fluid into the needle.

Aqueous solution for preserving tissues and organs

A manifold has a plurality of stopcocks wrapped in a flexible cellular material saturated with an antiseptic liquid and contained in a housing. Each control element of the stopcocks is removable and can be rotationally integrated with a head portion of a stopcock via a shaped male part. The shaped male part engages a female cavity of a matching shape through openings provided in the housing and in the cellular material opposite the stopcocks. Markings showing the position of the stopcocks are visible from the exterior of the housing when the element is withdrawn.

Infusion manifold

Protective structure for a connection site for medical use, including connection sites having at least one valve (3) integral with an attachment panel, and a housing slidably mounted on the panel including two half-shells made of synthetic material. The half-shells are at lengthwise rear walls, provided on lengthwise front walls with elastic closing means and provided with foam padding, having depressions for fitting valves and tubes of the connection site. According to the invention the half-shells are articulated by independent, spaced hinges on thin, lengthwise edges of a rear transverse wall integral with a slide and movably mounted on the panel. The length of the panel is at least equal to a distance that the slide must travel to achieve total clearance of the connection site by the two half-shells in an open position.
