One computer-implemented method may include: receiving, at a computer server, image data associated with at least one anatomical object; determining, using a processor associated with the computer server and via application of a trained predictive navigational guidance model to the image data, navigational guidance for the medical device in relation to the at least one anatomical object; generating, based on the determining, at least one visual representation associated with the navigational guidance; and transmitting, to a user device in network communication with the computer server, instructions to display the at least one visual representation associated with the navigational guidance overtop of the image data on a display screen of the user device.

Systems and methods for utilizing artificial intelligence to guide a medical device

A method for performing a medical procedure may comprise advancing a first device through a first body lumen. A distal portion of the first device may include a magnet. The method may further comprise advancing a second device through a second body lumen. The second device may include a magnetic field sensor. The method may further comprise receiving a signal from the magnetic field sensor. The signal may be indicative of a magnetic field measured by the magnetic field sensor. The method may further comprise, if the received signal matches a magnetic field of the magnet, identifying a position of the magnet.

A method of generating a color image using a monochromatic image sensor. The method includes sequentially illuminating a surface in a plurality of colors, one color at a time. The monochromatic image sensor captures a plurality of image frames of the surface based on the plurality of colors. The plurality of image frames are identified, and at least one feature in the target of the plurality of image frames is highlighted. Color intensities of the plurality of image frames are normalized. A color intensity map of the target for each of the plurality of image frames is generated. A correlation score is determined by comparing each color intensity map of the plurality of image frames. The color image is generated based on the correlation score.

First image sub-blocks are generated by dividing the first image frame. Second image sub-blocks are generated by dividing the second image frame based on the first image sub-blocks. Histogram data of the first image sub-blocks is generated. Histogram data of the second image sub-blocks is generated based on the histogram data of the first image sub-blocks. A system for determining characteristics of tissue within a body of a patient may include a medical device. The medical device may include a distal end configured to be advanced within the body of the patient; at least one aperture at the distal end; a laser emitter operable to emit monochromatic light out from the distal end via the at least one aperture and onto target tissue; and at least one photodetector array. The at least one photodetector array may be configured to: receive light incident on the at least one aperture that is one or more of scattered by or reflected from the target tissue; and generate Raman spectroscopy image data based on monochromatic light incident on the at least one aperture, the Raman spectroscopy image data including an array of intensity values.

A method is provided for enhancing video images in a medical device. The method includes receiving a first image frame and a second image frame from one or more image sensors. The first image sub-blocks are generated by dividing the first image frame. At least one curve to the first image sub-blocks are associated based on one or more look-up tables. A target in at least one of the first image sub-blocks is identified. Second image sub-blocks are generated by dividing the second image frame. At least one curve is associated to the second image sub-blocks based on the one or more look-up tables. The target is identified in at least one of the second image sub-blocks. Histogram enhanced images of the target in the first image sub-blocks and the second image sub-blocks are generated. A video image stream is generated based on the histogram enhanced images of the target.

A medical device includes a sensor, a processor, and non-transitory computer readable medium storing imaging instructions. The sensor captures a first raw image into a first frame of raw pixel values including a plurality of first pixel values that represent pixels of a first color and a plurality of second pixel values that represent pixels of a second color. The sensor captures a second raw image into a second frame of raw pixel values including a plurality of third pixel values that represent pixels of the second color and a plurality of fourth pixel values that represent pixels of a third color. The processor convolves the first frame of raw pixel values with the second frame of raw pixel values to generate a first extrapolated frame of pixel values in a YCrCb format and creates a processed image from the first extrapolated frame of pixel values.

The present disclosure includes devices, systems, and methods for reducing signal noise in endoscopic rotational imaging. Many embodiments include an elongate member that includes an impedance matching network disposed between a proximal imaging core and a distal imaging core. In many such embodiments, the elongate member may connect a controller at the proximal end and include a rotational transducer at the distal end. In various embodiments, the proximal and distal imaging cores may include a plurality of insulated conductors disposed within a shield (e.g., a shielded twisted pair (STP)). In various such embodiments, the insulated conductors may be utilized to communicate differential signals between the controller and the rotational imaging transducer. In some embodiments, the insulated conductors in the proximal imaging core may have a larger diameter than the insulated conductors in the distal imaging core.

A method for evaluating a gastrointestinal tract of a subject may comprise using a sensor located in the subject to obtain data regarding qualities of a tissue of the gastrointestinal tract; using the obtained data, determining a measure of perfusion of blood in the tissue; using the obtained data, determining a measure of thickness of the tissue; using the measure of perfusion and the measure of thickness, determining a measure of inflammation of the tissue; and using one or more of the measure of perfusion, the measure of thickness, and the measure of inflammation, classifying a state of the tissue.
