A double walled domed electric roasting oven and method of use is described. The double walled domed electric roasting oven includes a double walled dome lid, a base pan, a temperature controlling component and a heating element. The double walled dome lid is formed by coupling a domed inner wall and a domed outer wall with a fastener. The double walled dome lid has a dome lid height. The base pan interfaces with a bottom of the double walled dome lid. The base pan has a base pan height. The dome lid height is at least 2.5 times greater than the base pan height. The temperature controlling component is disposed on an exterior outer wall of the double walled dome lid. The temperature controlling component includes a heating element that is electrically coupled to the temperature controlling component. The heating element is radially disposed about the exterior inner wall surface of the domed inner wall and positioned within the domed outer wall.

Double walled domed electric roasting oven

A portable electric grill and method of use are described. The grill includes a double walled dome lid, a basin having a cavity, a grill that interfaces with the basin, a first heating element, a second heating element, a temperature controlling component, and a support that interfaces with a surface. The double walled dome lid includes a dome lid inner wall and a dome lid outer wall. The dome lid inner wall and the dome lid outer wall are joined at a base of the double walled dome lid. The basin interfaces with the base of the double walled dome lid, and the basin includes a hinge coupling the basin and the double walled dome lid. The first heating element is radially disposed about an exterior surface of the dome lid inner wall and within the dome lid outer wall. The second heating element is disposed within the basin cavity.

Domed roasting oven

An invertible roasting oven, cooking apparatus, and method of cooking with a cooking apparatus are described. In various embodiments, the invertible roasting oven may include a double walled dome lid having an inner wall and an outer wall, a heating element that is disposed within the double walled dome lid between the inner wall and the outer wall, and a shallow pan that interfaces with the double walled dome lid. The shallow pan may be configured to function as a base to the double walled dome lid in a first mode of operation and as a cover to the double walled dome lid in a second mode of operation. The invertible roasting oven may further include a cradle that receives the double walled dome lid when the cooking apparatus is operating in the second mode of operation.

Invertible electric roasting oven and method of use

A toaster oven appliance including low-profile heating elements having a predetermined single-sided surface area calculated to provide uniform heating within the cooking chamber, facilitate cleaning and to increase its usable capacity is disclosed. Various alternative configurations of top, bottom, and side-mounted heating elements in combination with both fixed and vertically movable heating element embodiments are provided for use with standard and digital controls. The heating elements are positioned both internally and externally of the cooking chamber and are provided in unsheathed, plain-sheathed, and metallic-sheathed types for a given application of the present oven. In one embodiment the heating elements are constructed as removable plug-in modules for convenient cleaning and replacement. The present toaster oven further includes an optional forced convection fan to reduce cooking temperature and shorten cooking cycles. An optional rotisserie mechanism is also provided in conjunction with the aforementioned combinations of heating elements and heating controls.

Toaster oven with low-profile heating elements

A portable electric grill including an exhaust fan for indoor grilling is disclosed. The present grill is constructed to permit its supporting frame to be folded from an open position wherein the horizontally disposed grilling plates are supported by folding leg members to a closed position wherein the grilling plates are folded vertically along with the leg members for convenient portability and storage. The present grill provides heating elements associated with each grilling plate, which permits the grilling plates to be selectively energized. An air filter is disposed within the air intake of the exhaust fan utilizing filter media capable of capturing particulate matter of a size range found in cooking fumes generated by the grill. In an alternative embodiment the present grill is designed to permit operation in an either an unfolded or a folded position and also includes a detachable exhaust fan module for the user's convenience.

Portable electric grill

A multifunctional griddle having hinged top and bottom heating plate assemblies which receive reversible cooking plates or, alternatively, interchangeable cooking plates for cooking different types of foods such as waffles, pancakes, and hot sandwiches. In one embodiment the reversible cooking plates are nested in face-to-face contact with mating top and bottom heating plates to improve heat transfer to the cooking plates. This is accomplished by forming a mating waffle grid in the heating plates for receiving the waffle iron surfaces of the cooking plates in intermeshing engagement. The intermeshing engagement of the cooking plates with the heating plates also reduces the overall vertical height of the appliance providing a slimmer profile. In an alternative embodiment a set of interchangeable cooking plates is provided having a sliding interface with modified heating plates. In this embodiment the cooking plates are conveniently interchanged to vary the cooking configurations of the appliance.

An automatic electric muffin maker for baking muffins and related foodstuffs is disclosed. The present muffin maker comprises a housing assembly enclosing a bottom heating plate having an integrated heating element and a top heating element for browning (i.e. to scorch slightly in cooking). Advantageously, the heating plate includes a plurality of integrally formed, internally tapered heating wells which receive a mating baking pan having tapered cylindrical mold cups configured to provide complementary surface-to-surface engagement within the heating wells and efficient heat transfer therebetween. The heating elements are electrically interconnected to a heat control thermostat, which regulates the baking cycle. In an alternative embodiment the baking functions are carried out by electronic controls including a timed cooking cycle which changes to a warming mode upon completion.

Automatic electric muffin maker

A roasting oven having a large capacity heating well including a wrap-around heating element for heating the side walls thereof and a top heating element for browning is disclosed. A function control panel featuring a touch-film interface and digital display of cooking modes is provided for the user's convenience. In an alternative embodiments standard electromechanical switches and rheostatic temperature controls provide the functions of the present oven. The heating elements are also fabricated in alternative embodiments to provide single-sided or double-sided configurations for particular heating applications. A lid member including the top heating element is attached to the present oven by electrically conductive supporting structures, which incorporate the electrical circuit for the top heating element and also provide for convenient disconnection thereof for cleaning and storage.

Roasting oven with dual heating elements

A food serving set for use in combination with a roasting oven or similar deep well cooker is disclosed. The present food serving set is comprised of a plurality of individual containers with sealable lids for maintaining food items in a ready-to-eat condition. The present serving set features collapsible supporting racks, which position the food containers within the deep well cooker while in use. In one embodiment the supporting rack is foldable for convenient storage or packaging of the serving set within the interior space of the roasting oven. In another embodiment the supporting rack may be easily disassembled for storage using a latching mechanism or other suitable quick connect/disconnect fasteners. In another embodiment the food containers include integral peripheral flanges, which are fitted to the inner edge of the cooking vessel and the supporting rack is unnecessary. The food serving set features folding lift out handles for user convenience.

Food serving set for roasting oven

A low wattage slow cooker featuring a wrap-around heating element for heating the side walls of the cooking vessel and a top heating element for browning food items is disclosed. The top browning element is integrated into a lid assembly of the cooker and is provided with quick connect/disconnect electrical connectors, which provide for convenient removal of the lid assembly for food service, cleaning, and storage. The wrap-around heating element and the top heating element are interconnected by a controller for heat regulation and selectively energizing the desired heating elements individually or in combination. The wrap-around heating element and the top heating elements are constructed in alternative embodiments utilizing different configurations of resistance wiring for versatility in manufacturing and cooking applications. All embodiments of the present slow cooker are provided with a heatproof ceramic or glass cooking liner, which acts as an heat insulator.
