A self-centering cable strap centers items such as cables, wires and tubes, or bundles thereof, on a bed of the strap. A cinch strap extends from one side of the bed and abutment figures extend from a side of the bed opposite the cinch strap and project laterally and axially relative to the bed.

A hole plug includes a cap and a securing frame. The securing frame extends from the cap. The securing frame includes first and second support legs, first and second connectors, and a lock body. The first connector is engaged with the first support leg. The second connector is engaged with the second support leg. The lock body is engaged with the first and second connectors.

Light weight hole plug

A clip assembly is configured to securely connect a first structural component to a second structural component. The clip assembly may include an arc attachment member and an arc-receiving member. The arc attachment member may include a securing arc having a semi-circular rim. The arc attachment member is configured to be secured to one of the first or second structural components. The arc-receiving member may include an arc-receiving portion configured to receive the securing arc through multiple directions. The arc-receiving member is configured to be secured to the other of the first or second structural components. The securing arc is configured to be pivotally adjusted with respect to the arc-receiving portion.

A hole plug assembly includes a covering base connected to a first lip, at least one extensible member having a first portion connected to one or both of the covering base or the first lip, and a second lip connected to a second portion of the at least one extensible member. The at least one extensible member is configured to expand and contract with respect to a central axis of the covering base.

A plug for closing a hole in a panel includes an enlargement for inserting into the hole and a flange for engaging the panel. Activatable adhesive on the flange adheres the plug to the panel upon activation. Segments of adhesive are applied to the enlargement to wedge the plug in the hole, for holding the plug in position prior to activation of the adhesive.

A vibration dampening clip suitable for securing a tube, such as a brake line, to a motor vehicle frame member includes an anchor portion for connecting the clip to the frame member, a retainer structure for holding the tube and a spring interconnecting the anchor portion and the retainer structure.

A rivet-type fastener is disclosed, suitable for panel fasteners and other applications in which retention in a hole is required. The act of inserting the fastener expands fastener arms to secure the fastener in the hole, and positions locking protrusions of a post within notches of the arms, to lock the fastener within the hole. In some embodiments the fastener can be released, for removal and re-use.

The hole plug includes a peripheral planar ledge with a wall formed perpendicular therewith. A gasket seats within the intersection of the planar ledge and the wall. The gasket includes inwardly extending tabs (or &ldquo;dogs&rdquo;) which extend into corresponding pockets (or &ldquo;doghouses&rdquo;) formed in the wall. This causes the gasket, which is initially provided in a non-tacky state, to be mechanically secured to the hole plug during shipment and assembly prior to installation.

The rod end clip includes a detent head with an aperture therethrough. The aperture provides a pivot point with respect to a rod end onto which the rod end clip is being installed. The detent head subsequently provides a pivot point for the rod with respect to an aperture in a panel into which the detent head is inserted. The rod end clip further includes an arm assembly with a semi-circular seat and a flexible finger. As the rod is pivoted into the arm assembly to be engaged by the semi-circular seat, the flexible finger is urged from an unflexed position to a flexed position. The flexible finger thereafter generates an audible clicking sound as the rod passes from contact with the flexible finger and into the semi-circular seat.
