A method, computer program product, and computer system for receiving, from a first and second application by a computing device, shapes of artifacts and components of the first and second application. The shapes of the artifacts and components of the first and second application are conformed to a standard format. One or more changes to the shapes of the artifacts and components of the first and second application are tracked. One or more suspicious relationships across the first and second application are displayed based upon, at least in part, the one or more changes to the shapes of the artifacts and components of the first and second application.

A user input initiating delivery of a first change set to a stream maintained by an artifact management application can be detected. A first set of elements and a first set of elements types associated with the first change set can be identified. A second set of element types that pertain to at least one unit of work identified for the first set of elements can be identified. A second set of elements that are involved in the same unit of work can be identified. A second change set modifying the second set of elements can be identified. A third change set modifying at least one element type can be identified. A change set group can be created and the first change set, the second change set and the third change set can be added to the change set group. The change set group can be delivered to the stream.

A method, computer program product, and computer system for generating, at a computing device, a first suspect profile of a plurality of suspect profiles that includes one or more characteristics, wherein the first suspect profile is associated with a traceability link between at least two artifacts. A change to a first characteristic associated with a first artifact of the at least two artifacts is determined. Which of the plurality of suspect profiles includes the first characteristic is determined. The first characteristic is matched to the first suspect profile of the plurality of suspect profiles based upon, at least in part, determining that the first suspect profile includes the first characteristic. The traceability link is marked as suspect based upon, at least in part, matching the first characteristic to the first suspect profile.

System and method for managing traceability suspicion with suspect profiles

A computer implemented method, an apparatus, and a computer usable program product are provided for configuring and modeling server connection and deployment information in an enterprise tooling environment. A software model is provided that comprises a connections object, which includes a plurality of connection objects and deploy spec objects. Each of the connection objects is specific to a backend server type. A deploy controller is provided at run time to examine the connections object for a connection object. A backend resource manager is loaded for a specific application server. If a connection object is present, the backend resource manager loads a connection interpreter, which transforms development time connection information in the connection object to the run time connection information in corresponding deploy spec object and connection factory spec object. The backend resource manager then writes the deployment information to the configurations files of the application server.

Method and apparatus for configuring and modeling server information in an enterprise tooling environment

A method and apparatus for synchronizing an XML document object model with the corresponding object model on the fly and in real time such that changes in either the document object model or the object model can be immediately reflected in the other without re-parsing the XML document. The invention utilizes a series of DOM/object model adapter software modules, each responsible for one (or more) object model properties and document object model nodes, respectively. Each adapter is registered to receive notification of a change in an object model property or DOM node for which it is responsible and updates the corresponding DOM node or object model property, respectively.
