An armature apparatus includes a first tine member, a second tine member, a center tine member, and a connecting portion. The connecting portion is coupled to the first tine member, the second tine member, and the connecting portion, and the connecting portion has a line of symmetry. The center tine member is attached to the connecting portion along the line of symmetry such that approximately one half the area of the connection portion is above the center tine member and approximately one half the area of the connection portion is below the center tine member. The attachment is effective to prevent a formation of a horizontal force in the center tine member along the third length when a vertical force is applied to the center tine member in the direction of third thickness.

Low axial vibration receiver armature and assembly

An armature apparatus includes a first tine member, a second tine member, a center tine member, and a connecting portion. The first tine member has a first length and a first width and these define a first surface. The second tine member has a second length and a second width and these define a second surface. The first surface generally faces the second surface and the first surface is generally parallel relation to the second surface. The center tine member has a third length and the third length is generally parallel to the first length and the second length. The connecting portion couples the center tine member to the first surface along the first length and to the second surface along the second length. The center tine member is generally disposed in a plane extending between the first tine member and the second tine member and the plane divides the first surface of the first tine member and the second surface of the second tine member.

A method for testing electrical connectivity between conductive structures on a chip that is preferably layered with conductive and nonconductive layers. The method includes determining the layer on which each structure is located and defining the perimeter of each structure. Conductive layer connections between each of the layers are determined, and, for each structure, the points of intersection between the perimeter of that structure and the perimeter of each other structure on the chip are also determined. Finally, electrical connections between the structures are determined using the points of intersection and the conductive layer connections.

A practice device for assisting a batter in learning a proper swing includes an elongated, lightweight, tubular member having two longitudinal ends which forms a longitudinal extension of the handle of the bat. The extension is circularly symmetrical about the longitudinal axis of the bat and has a fastener at one end for attachment coaxially of the member to the bat handle.

Training device for baseball/batting practice softball

A device for practicing the swing of a playing instrument such as a golf club is an elongated extension removably attached to the handle of the club to normally extend upwardly under the left arm pit to a level about the level of and behind the shoulders. The extension is lightweight of hollow plastic tubing and has a socket at the lower end which slides over the upper part of the club handle. A centering pin in the socket enters the vent hole, which is in the butt of most golf clubs, to guide and center the extension as the socket is removably clamped in place. As the golfer performs his back stroke, then his forward stroke, and then follows through in simulating striking the ball, the extension will indicate to him that he is stroking correctly. The extension is about the same length as a golf club to be carried in the golf bag when not in use. An arrow on the extension tells the golfer where to place his thumb. A projecting pin, on the extension, points to the ground when the extension is at the finish of the back swing.

A novel, durable thermosetting acrylic automotive finish and method for manufacturing same is described which is manufactured from a predispersed, substantially dry composition. The resultant thermosetting acrylic finish has a higher pigment loading at a sprayable viscosity, thereby reducing the number of applications necessary to produce an acceptable automotive finish. In tests conducted by applicants, the described thermosetting acrylic automotive finish exhibits acceptable durability when exposed to solar radiation for extended periods of time.

A combination of an aryl sulfonamide-formaldehyde resin and film forming material, such as cellulose acetate butyrate, which may further include a surfactant, such as a non-ionic surfactant including, for example, an alkylarylpolyether, comprises a 'universal' dispersant for resin additives, such as pigment materials. This composition generally includes 40-90 weight % of any of various types of additives, including pigments. The dispersant generally comprises from 30-80 weight % film former or binder, which may consist of cellulose acetate butyrate or a solid plasticizer, such as camphor, sucrose benzoate and dicyclohexylphthalate, and from 20-70 weight % of the aryl sulfonamide-formaldehyde resin. Apart from pigments, the additives may consist of fillers, extenders, etc., including, for example, calcium carbonate, antimony oxide and magnesium silicate.
