A machining spindle that includes a tool-holder shaft (), a first actuator connected to a coupling member () slidably connected to a first section () of the shaft to rotate the shaft, a second actuator connected to a nut helically connected to a second section () of the shaft to move the shaft axially and a control rod () of a tool-holder attachment system connected to the second section by a full connection. The spindle includes a locking arrangement () mounted movable between the first and second sections by a switchover arrangement (), between a first position in which the first and second sections are in full connection and a second position allowing axial movement of the second section relative to the first section, enabling the control rod to be moved axially under the action of the second actuator to control the attachment system in a released position of the tool holder.

Electrospindle with integrated feed with automatic tool holder change

A piezoelectric actuator control device comprising a first voltage converter supplying a DC voltage on a DC power supply bus to which is connected a second voltage converter capable of generating a variable excitation voltage under the control of a control computer, the second voltage converter comprising two switch half-bridges mounted in parallel with the terminals of a bus capacitor, the control computer being suitable for controlling the two switch half-bridges according to a first control configuration, in which they are controlled independently in order to each supply a voltage in a range between zero and a maximum positive value and according to a second control configuration, in which they are jointly controlled as a full-bridge for supplying a voltage between a minimum negative value and said maximum positive value.

Piezoelectric actuator type control device for capacitive loads

A machining device including a framework, a transmission shaft and a drive mechanism including a rotation member for driving the shaft in rotation about its axis, a drive member in helical connection with the shaft to drive the translation thereof along its axis with a feed movement, according to the relative rotational speed of the rotation and drive members. The drive member is mounted with the ability to effect translational movement with respect to the framework along the axis and is positioned between the rotation member and an end for coupling of the shaft to a cutting tool, while an electromechanical actuator is mounted in a fixed frame of reference associated with the framework in front of the drive member to which it can be coupled in order to cause it to oscillate translationally so as to superpose an axial oscillation component with the feed movement.

Vibratory machining device

A machining device including a casing, a transmission shaft () and a drive mechanism () including a first gearing member () that is able to rotate the shaft about its axis (A), a second gearing member () that is in a helicoidal connection with the shaft in order to drive the shaft translationally along its axis in a feed movement, depending on the relative rotational speed of the first and second gearing members, and means for generating axial oscillations. The second gearing member () is able to move translationally along the axis (A) with respect to the casing, the means for generating axial oscillations including an electromechanical actuator () mounted at a fixed location, connected to the casing, and able to be coupled axially to the second gearing member () in order to make it oscillate translationally, so as to superimpose an axial oscillation component on said feed movement.

A drilling head () with an axial oscillation generator, includes a mounting () for coupling the head to a motor for rotating the mounting about an axis, the mounting () having a longitudinal axis () coinciding with the axis of rotation of the motor, a tool holder (), an elastically deformable element () for retaining the tool holder () in the mounting () and an element () for guiding the tool holder () in the mounting () along the longitudinal axis () of the mounting, wherein the mounting of the drilling head includes a controlled generator () of reciprocating movements in the direction of the aforementioned axis () positioned between the mounting () and the tool holder, the tool holder and the generator being connected by a longitudinal coupling member () suitable for damping the impacts withstood by the tool holder while enabling the transmission of the reciprocating movements.
