Disclosed herein are antibodies specific to a delta-1 chain of a γδ T cell receptor and methods of using such for modulating γδ T cell bioactivity. Such anti-Delta 1 antibodies may also be used to treat diseases associated with γδ T cell activation, such as solid tumors, or for detecting presence of γδ1 T cells.

A head covering system comprises a cap as an inner component and an outer head covering that cooperate to help protect the head from the elements but helps to protect against vision obstruction when the head is moved. A headgear system comprises a cap having a head engaging portion and a visor that engages and moves with the head of the user. An outer covering fits over the cap and at least a portion of the head of the user comprises head covering portion, an optionally a neck covering portion, and a bill attached to the head covering portion.

An electric vehicle that includes a drive train system that propel the electric vehicle, an electrical system that powers the drive train system, and a steering system that steers the electric vehicle. The electrical system includes a battery charger that is at least one of an off board A.C. charger in which the battery pack is selectively plugged into a socket in the off board A.C. charger by a plug, and wheel generators in which the battery pack is in selective electrical communication therewith by a brake switch that is operatively connected to a brake system so as to only activate the battery charger when the brake system is applied. The wheel generators that are operatively connected to the rear wheels comprise stator portions that are fixedly mounted in the axle housing and rotor portions that are fixedly mounted on for rotation with the drive axle and which are in electrical communication with the associated stator portions. The wheel generators that are operatively connected to the front wheels comprise stator portions that are fixedly mounted on the spindles and rotor portions that are fixedly mounted in for rotation with the front wheels and which are in electrical communication with the associated stator portions.

Electric vehicle

A denture cleaner powered by a stream of falling water. A first rotary brush is geared to the gear. A second rotary brush is arranged at an angle to the first brush, with the bristles of the two brushes intersecting. The water falls onto a turbine or water wheel, which turns the first brush through a reducing gear. The first brush frictionally or interfittingly drives the second brush. Dentures are placed between the two brushes, and are held in place by the configuration of the cleaning chamber. Two pairs of brushes arranged in this manner are provided for cleaning two sets of dentures simultaneously. The water wheel is arranged selectively to divert a portion of the water stream into the cleaning chamber. A pocket having a perforated wall dispenses a cleaning agent into the cleaning chamber. The denture cleaner is thus independent of power from a manual, electric, or fluid pressure source, and operates without manual assistance from the user.

Denture cleaner

An improved electric motor comprising two rotatable members. The members have rotational axes arranged at an angle to and intersecting one another. The members rotate in tandem, so that an arbitrarily selected point on the end of one member has a corresponding point located on the opposing end of the other member. The paired points pass through a cycle wherein they progressively approach one another, then spread apart. This cycle repeats. Electromagnets are disposed upon each rotatable member in the manner of the corresponding points, so that their flux fields enjoy the benefit of cyclic variable proximity. This arrangement increases the efficiency of electric motors. Electric power for energizing the coils of the electromagnets is switched by an energized member interposed between the rotatable members. The energized member contacts brushes mounted on the rotatable members. Rotation causes the brushes to contact and lose contact with appropriately energized conductors located on the energized member. The electromagnets are thus cyclically energized and deenergized so that attraction occurs as the electromagnets approach one another, and repulsion ensues as the electromagnets diverge. In an alternative embodiment, electromagnets of one rotating member are maintained at one polarity, and polarity of electromagnets of the other member is switched appropriately.

Motor having non-coaxial, synchronized rotors

A pet litter separator including a container and a sifter for separating the unsoiled litter from the animal excrement and soiled litter. The sifter includes a stationery first sifter element for retaining the animal excrement and soiled litter within the container and a vertically movable second sifter element for separating the unsoiled litter from the animal excrement and soiled litter. A sifter mounts the second sifter element for relative vertical movement with respect to the first sifter element. A plurality of first sifter openings are defined within the first sifter element. The second sifter element has a first vertical position closing the first sifter openings thereby retaining litter within the container and a second vertical position unobstructing the first sifter openings enabling the unsoiled litter to pass through the first sifter openings. An actuator is interconnected with the sifter for moving the second sifter element from the first vertical position to the second vertical position.

Pet litter separator

An improved ratchet wrench is disclosed that minimizes the number of moving parts that are needed in the device to provide a low torque ratcheting action along with a non-ratcheting high torque mode of operation. Proximate each of the engaging faces of the wrench head, there is an irregular pyramidal cutout. The base of the cutout is a three sided polygon and forms a trailing engagement face when the wrench head is turned in the direction for providing torque to the nut. The apex of this cutout irregular pyramid is contiguous to, and provides a perpendicular junction between, the engaging face and the face of the wrench head. Thus, when the wrench direction is reversed, the wrench head rises up away from engagement with the nut and, upon the cooperating vertices of the nut reaching the next cutout, falls back into engagement with another set of trailing engagement edges. Ratcheting action for low torque applications is thus provided. To assist in stopping the travel of the wrench head and its various engaging faces any farther than necessary down onto the nut, a number of spring loaded balls are inserted into the engagement faces. In the preferred embodiment, there are two balls on opposite engagement faces. If higher torque is desired, these balls are capable of fully recessing into their holding slots, thus allowing the device to function as a normal wrench.
