A method and apparatus is provided to assure transformations between applications in an integration project. This assurance of transformations between applications includes mapping one or more related fields from a set of fields between the one or more source applications and the one or more target applications according to a set of integration objectives, checking a type compatibility for each of the one or more related fields mapped between the one or more source applications and the one or more target applications and indicating a mapping status according to the type compatibility between the source applications and the target applications.

Mapping assurance method and apparatus for integrating systems

A method and apparatus is provided to discover and integrate applications in an application router framework. The discovery operation includes receiving a registration notification for an application on a network, adding information describing the application to a repository into a data structure and publishing the data structure onto an application router. The association operations include querying one or more application routers on an application network for meta-data and other information on applications, exchanging the meta-data and other information between the application routers and associating the applications together automatically using their respective application protocols. Routing operations include receiving application information in an application protocol format, converting the application information in the application protocol format into a neutral protocol format and forwarding the application information in the neutral protocol format along with state information to other application router devices on the network.

A method and apparatus is provided for integrating an application into a network of computing resources. Applications using this integration have a virtualized access to one or more computing resources associated with the network. Virtualization is generally assured through at least one network connection between the virtual layer and the native network. Together, the virtual access is used to generate a virtual application network capable of providing the application access to the network of computing resources. The application is created into an orchestration of operations to manipulate the one or more computing resources according to a business process. As needed, the application and orchestration can be further partitioning into components to be distributed and executed over the virtual application network using the virtualized access.

Application network communication method and apparatus

An audio signal transmission system to be used on commercial airlines for the discrete transmission of voice conversations emanating from the cockpit of the aircraft automatically to a ground tracking station or a tracking aircraft in an emergency situation, sich as a hijacking, unbeknownst to occupants of the cockpit other than the crew members. The transmission system comprises an audio switching assembly which, when activated, transfers audio signals from a voice recorder assembly normally found on commercial aircraft to a radio transceiver of the aircraft for automatic transmission to ground tracking stations. Activation of the system can occur by a crew member carrying out his normal activities therefore not alerting hijackers when performing either one or both of the duties relating to setting the dual transponder control to a preselected code setting and/or the frequency channel selector of the radio transceiver to a preselected frequency.
