A server computer receives a request for promotional material from a management client running on a user device while a non-web-browser application is active on the user device, identifies the promotional material to send to the user device in response to the request, and sends the promotional material to the user device at a first time. In response to the management client on the user device being launched in response to a request from a user of the user device and the promotional material being presented for user interaction by the management client outside the application at a second time, wherein the second time is later than the first time, the server computer receives, over a wireless communication network, data representing a user interaction with the promotional material from the management client on the user device, stores the data representing the user interaction with the promotional material in a data store, and generates an analysis of the data representing the user interaction to determine an effectiveness of the promotional material.

A system and method for identifying, managing, and synchronizing delivery and storage of promotional material to computing devices associated with a user. The system and method are configured to receive a request from one or more of the user's computing devices to synchronize the delivery of the promotional material to at least a portion of the user's device portfolio. Advantageously, the action triggering the sending of the synchronization request may include an interaction with the promotional material or an interaction with a web service application.

Method and system for synchronizing delivery of promotional material to computing devices

A Mobile Enterprise Platform utilizes a web based service that synchronizes enterprise data between a plurality of disparate mobile devices and a plurality of backend enterprise resources. The Mobile Enterprise Platform creates a web service synchronization source instance using Hypertext Transfer Protocol ('HTTP') for each application or database present on a plurality of mobile devices. Corresponding to each of these web service synchronization source instances is a web based synchronization service associated with a specific backend enterprise resource. Each synchronization service is web based and can thus live anywhere on the network or on a dedicated services tie as they need only to supply a small set of operations to offer synchronization capability to a variety of mobile devices.

Enterprise web service data to mobile device synchronization

A standard platform independent messaging environment for use with devices is provided. The environment provides programming and operational building blocks that can be used to interface with existing data providing capabilities to identify, respond to, and report errors and failover conditions. Customizable decision logic is used to provide more sophisticated response and reporting capabilities, even though the basic device hardware and operation is not redesigned.
