Embodiments of the disclosure relate to a coordinator network node and one or more network access nodes interworking in a wireless communication system. The coordinator network node determines a joint resource allocation area (&#x3a9;) based on measurement messages from network access nodes. The determined joint resource allocation area (&#x3a9;) is thereafter transmitted to the network access nodes. Thereby, the coordinator network node enables to determine the portion of the first or the second service areas that are free from interference from neighbouring network access nodes where each network access node can perform resource allocations independently. It further enables to determine/identify the joint resource allocation area where neighbouring network access nodes significantly interfere each other. Therefore, e.g. resource allocation in the system can be improved. Furthermore, the disclosure also relates to corresponding methods and a computer program.

Coordinator network node and access network nodes for resource allocation in a wireless communication system

A first network access node for a wireless communication system obtains a set of first radio service information (RSI) for a set of first position information in a service area. Each first RSI of the set of first RSI comprises a first RSI estimate, a first estimate type indicating how the first RSI estimate was estimated, and a first radio service type defining the first RSI estimate. The first network access node further receives a first control message from a second network access node. Corresponding methods and computer program products are also described.

Network access node and methods thereof

A client device is configured to receive an indication of a first network SINR for a first data transmission from a network node, and to derive the first network SINR based on the indication of a first network SINR. The client device is further configured to estimate a SINR adjustment for a second data transmission from the network node, and to compute a SINR difference value between the first network SINR and the SINR adjustment. Furthermore, the client device is configured to transmit at least one first control message having an indication of the SINR adjustment to the network node if the SINR difference value is larger than a threshold value.

The invention relates to devices in a wireless network transmitting uplink beacons such as a network node comprising a transceiver for communication with at least one User Equipment, UE. The network node is configured to receive an at least one uplink beacon corresponding to the at least one UE, and to determine a group comprising at least a first UE and a second UE, based on received uplink beacons from the first UE and the second UE. The network node is also configured to determine uplink beacon reconfiguration for each UE in the group, comprising information specifying a group uplink beacon, and information specifying a UE configuration for the UEs of the group, indicating each UE of the group either as being a UE for sending said group uplink beacon, or as a UE for receiving said group uplink beacon.
