Techniques are disclosed for generating a search index for a hierarchical data set so that a search query of the hierarchical data may return results without searching or analyzing the hierarchical data set itself. The techniques generate a flattened index that includes selected indexed attributes and additional attributes to be displayed with the indexed attributes. The techniques also generate a hierarchy representation of the hierarchical data. Using these generated data structures, query results may be returned without directly traversing the hierarchical data itself while also providing data and hierarchical context for the query results by overlaying the query results with nodes of the hierarchical representation or otherwise concurrently displaying the query results with nodes of the hierarchical representation.

A system is provided that reports audit data. The system retrieves audit data that is stored in database tables, where the audit data includes a history of modifications to data, and where the audit data includes data values. The system further retrieves a display name that is stored in a lookup table, where the display name is associated with a data value of the data values within the lookup table. A system that directs a user to an object in response to a selection of a deep link uniform resource identifier ('URL') that includes an identity of a web service, an object type and action, accesses a database table. The system uses the object type and the action as a first index key and a second index key of the database table to generate a query. The system then directs the user to the object that corresponds to the full URL.

A system that manages a unified sandbox environment activates a plurality of components in the unified sandbox environment, each component being configured to manage the lifecycle of its own component data. The system orchestrates an operation across the unified sandbox environment, the orchestrating including delegating one or more operations to the components, the components being configured to wait until all delegated operations are completed successfully before committing changes based on the delegated operations. The system manages a central label repository including distributing labels to the components, the components being configured to associate the centrally managed labels with versions of their respective component data. The system then creates a unified sandbox view across the respective component data of all components based on a selection of one or more of the centrally managed labels.
