The present invention provides an electronic plumbing fixture fitting including a learning system and a reference system. The electronic plumbing fixture fitting includes a user input module and a processor. The user input module includes a mechanism to receive from the user numerical value(s) of parameter(s) for water to be delivered through a discharge outlet of the electronic plumbing fixture fitting (e.g., a temperature) and a mechanism to deliver to the user the numerical value(s) of the parameter(s) via the water delivered through the discharge outlet of the electronic plumbing fixture fitting. Additionally, the processor includes a mechanism to learn a range of the numerical value(s) of the parameter(s) from a minimum value of the parameter to a maximum value of the parameter (e.g., from a lowest achievable temperature to a highest achievable temperature).

The present invention provides an electronic plumbing fixture fitting including a measurement system. The electronic plumbing fixture fitting includes a user input module. The user input module includes a mechanism to receive from the user numerical value(s) of parameter(s) for water to be delivered through a discharge outlet of the electronic plumbing fixture fitting (e.g., volume or volume and temperature) and a mechanism to deliver to the user the numerical value(s) of the parameter(s) via the water delivered through the discharge outlet of the electronic plumbing fixture fitting.

Embodiments described herein include a data acquisition unit having a plurality of ports that are each configured to receive a signal from a respective temperature sensor of a device under test. Each of the temperature sensors is associated with a location with respect to the device under test. The data acquisition unit also includes a processor configured to determine a temperature corresponding to each temperature sensor, based on the signal received from the respective temperature sensor. The processor can then generate a thermal gradient for the device under test based on the temperature and the location of each of the temperature sensors. This thermal gradient can then be output for further analysis. Additional embodiments may be described and/or claimed herein.

Also, a processor-implemented method of navigating between portions of a data set may include displaying, on a touchscreen display, a diagrammatical depiction of a first portion of the data set; detecting a continuous arc gesture at the touchscreen display; determining a direction of the arc gesture; selecting a second portion of the data set based on the determined direction of the arc gesture; and displaying a diagrammatical depiction of the second portion of the data set.

The processor determines, during an initial scan, a first measurement value of the signal on the port, sets at least one alarm value based on the first measurement value, the at least one alarm value being within a predetermined amount of the first measurement value, receives, during a subsequent scan, a second measurement value of the signal on the port, and generates an alert when the second measurement value violates the at least one alarm value.
