The infant stroller with air conditioner and heater includes a stroller with a seat and seat back that include a cooling member and a heating member. The seat and seat back may be further defined as a flexible membrane that contours to provide a comfortable seating posture. The cooling member may utilize a refrigeration cycle to circulate cooled water through tubing integrated into the seat and seat back. The heating member involves the use of a heating element that when energized releases heat. The heating element is integrated into the construction of the seat and the seat back. Both the heating member and the cooling member are connected to a control member positioned underneath the seat and seat back. The control member is ideally positioned in a storage compartment provided between the wheels of the infant stroller.

A tube support device is presented. The present invention includes at least two first plates and at least two second plates each having a plurality of slots mutually arranged and aligned so as to allow four or more plates to interlock and form a grid of depth-wise planar extent thereby providing at least one square-shaped opening. Each first plate and each second plate have a plurality of u-shaped nodules. At least one u-shaped nodule along each first plate and along each second plate extends into each square-shaped opening. U-shaped nodules are disposed parallel to and contacting a tube passing through each square-shaped opening. The grid is surrounded by a fluid with a flow field parallel to each tube and may include a secondary flow field crosswise disposed with respect to each tube. In yet another embodiments, the present invention is positioned within a shell and tube heat exchanger so as to support a plurality of tubes passing there through.

Heat exchanger tube support

A hat and scarf that is made from coordinating material. A band extends around the circumference of the bottom of the hat and secures it to one's head. A loop is secured to the top of the hat. Each end of the loop is stitched to the hat top, thereby creating a small opening between the hat and the loop. At the rear of the hat, a band is secured at both ends by means of a fastener. The fastener is preferably a button or snap, thereby allowing the band to be easily attached or detached from the hat. A strand of coordinating material extends along the rear of the hat. It is fitted through the loop at the hat top and is secured under the band, consequently leaving two ends of the strand dangling from the bottom of the hat. The scarf is made from a flexible material that drapes loosely over one's neck. It is made from the same material as the hat, thereby creating a matching set.

A stake of U-shaped cross-section which, when inserted in a tube bundle between parallel rows of tubes, dampens vibrations and provides support. One stake end is arcuately shaped for engagement with the end tube in a tube row and in one embodiment an aperture is provided to accommodate a restraint which retains the stakes in series in their engagement mode.

A supporting means for the tubes in a tube bundle arranged in an array having a plurality of rows of parallel tubes with lanes therebetween is constructed of a plurality of first and second strip members extending through lanes of the bundles, with the lanes through which the first strip members extend being transverse to the lanes through which the second strip members extend, and a frame extending around the periphery of the tube bundle array in engagement with the strip members for retaining the same in place.

A supporting means for a tube bundle arranged in an array having a plurality of rows of parallel tubes is constructed of a plurality of first and second strip members extending transversely to one another and being interlocked at cooperating slots to form a lattice structure of crossed strips with openings for receiving the tubes, and a frame extending around the periphery of the tube bundle array in engagement with the ends of the strip members.

Rows of heat exchange tubes are supported by transversely disposed support strips having a plurality of U-shaped members interconnected end to end in a manner so that said strips act as a structural member supporting the weight of the tubes and additional support elements from all rows above a given row. Each leg of each U-shaped member converges upwardly or downwardly at an angle of about 8.degree. to 15.degree. with the vertical.

Support for heat exchange tubes

A heat exchanger is retrofitted by removing old heat exchange tubes. If there is no access passage into the shell, an access hole is cut in a wall of the shell. Modules preformed from zig-zag elements are introduced through the access passage and assembled into a tube support panel within the shell between adjacent support plates. The heat exchanger is retubed so as to support the new tubes by the existing support plates and by said panels.

Method of retrofitting a heat exchanger

A condenser shell for a large steam condenser is installed at a building site of a power plant without any tube bundles. One or more years later, the tube bundles are designed, constructed and installed in the shell.

Rows of heat exchange tubes are supported by transversely disposed support strips having a plurality of V-shaped members interconnected end to end in a manner so that said strips act as a structural member supporting the weight of the tubes and additional support elements from all rows above a given row. Each leg of each V-shaped member has a generally triangular tab bendable out of the plane of its associated leg.

An L-shaped member is used for positioning a plurality of tube support plates at predetermined spaced locations on the L-shaped member with the tube holes of the support plates aligned. The L-shaped member is portable and includes a plurality of longitudinally separated members for locating the tube support plates with a predetermined spacing between each tube support plate.

Method for constructing a steam condenser

An L-shaped member is used for positioning a plurality of tube support plates at predetermined spaced locations on the L-shaped member with the tube holes of the tube sheets aligned. The L-shaped member is portable and includes a plurality of longitudinally separated members for locating the tube support plates with a predetermined spacing between each tube support plate.
