The invention is directed to compositions, kits, and methods for amplifying and detecting a Zika virus nucleic acid sequence in a sample, which comprises a variety of combinations of forward oligonucleotide primers, reverse oligonucleotide primers, and oligonucleotide probes.

Compositions and methods for detecting zika virus

An anti-tip hinge device for a door or a shelf, which is pivotally moved to obtain a horizontal cantilever position. The hinge device has a channel which fits into a sheath of and is connected to the door or shelf. A lever arm carries cam followers which engage a cam in the channel. The cam is supported in the channel by a pin and a spring located on opposite ends of the cam. The cam has a recess and a ramp disposed adjacent to the recess. When an overload is applied to the cantilever end of the door or shelf, the cam followers are disengaged from the recess of the cam, and push the cam inwardly within the channel at an angle to allow the door or shelf to be titled downwardly below the horizontal. This action interrupts the counterbalance spring effect on the door. A pin-hole arrangement resets the hinge device, and a lug-slot arrangement prevents the door from disengaging the hinge device.

A devious path bacterial barrier for providing an air/gas pathway to a sterile environment from an external environment, including a flat member lying within a plane and having spaced openings extending into the flat member and with one of the openings for communicating with the exterior environment and with the other of the openings for communicating with the sterile environment, a pathway extending between the openings and with the pathway extending within the flat member and along the plane of the flat member for interconnecting the openings and providing an air/gas pathway between the one opening of the flat member and the other opening, and the pathway including a plurality of bends along its length and with each bend providing an area to trap any bacteria introduced into the pathway from the exterior environment communicating with the one opening and with all the bacteria trapped at a distance along the pathway before the other opening communicating with the sterile environment.

Devious path bacterial barrier

A sterile container, including a container body having an open end for receiving an item to be maintained in a sterile environment and with the container body including a flange portion extending around the entire container body at the open end, a sealing cavity formed within the flange portion of the container body and extending throughout the length of the flange portion and with the cavity including an opening having a particular dimension across the opening and with at least a portion of the cavity within the cavity having a larger dimension across the cavity than the particular dimension across the opening, a cover for closing the open end of the container body and with the cover including a flange portion extending around the entire cover, and a sealing cavity formed within the flange portion of the cover and with one of the sealing cavities nested within the other when the cover seals the open end of the container body and with the shape of the sealing cavity in the flange portion of the cover complementary to the shape of the sealing cavity in the flange portion of the container body.

Sterile container

A coating solution comprising trivalent chromium and one or more cations selected from the group consisting of manganese, bismuth, antimony tin, zinc and molybdenum is employed in a process wherein the solution is contacted with a metallic surface to form a corrosion resistant coating. The coating can be force dried or can be treated with a passivating solution.
