A vest for a human body has an air core coupled to a pulsator operable to subject the vest to pulses of air which repetitively applies and releases pressure to the body. The vest has a cover having a pocket accommodating the air core. The pulsator has diaphragms connected to a d.c. electric motor with a rotary to reciprocating motion transmitting mechanism operable to generate air pulses in the air core.

The present invention provides a cap having a plurality of readily assembled parts that provide a passage for a beverage or liquid through the cap from the pitcher to the exterior thereof. The cap has a cap body made up of top and bottom portions that are formed so as to snap fit together. The cap body defines an interior cavity or passage from an entry defined by the bottom portion to an exit cooperatively defined by the top and bottom portions. The entry is selectively opened and closed to allow fluid or liquid passage through the cap by a valve that is biased into a closed position. In a preferred embodiment the valve is attached to a plunger having a cylindrical configuration and including a plurality of upwardly and outwardly extending shape memory retentive legs that are confined within a receiving collar attached to the bottom portion. The plunger is moved downwardly from its closed position through the interaction of the plunger with a ring closely and slidable surrounding the receiving collar, the ring being attached to a user accessible push button.

A legless shelf assembly for use in a locker to provide support for articles to be stored in the locker. The shelf assembly has first and second shelf members movably relative to each other to expanded and retracted positions. Releasable cooperating rachet teeth on the side walls of the shelf members retain the shelf members in their expanded positions. An actuator cam rotatably mounted on one of the shelf members cooperates with teeth on the other of the shelf members to move the shelf members in opposite directions and further retain the shelf members in their expanded positions in tight engagement with the side walls of the locker.

There is provided a beverage server comprising a pitcher and a multiple positionable lid. The lid is capable of being disposed in three distinct positions on the pitcher, including a filling position, a pouring position, and a locked position wherein beverage is substantially prevented from being spilled from the pitcher.

A skate assembly having front and rear attachment portions adapted to be incorporated into or attached respectively to the sole and heel of a boot; and an elongate sub-assembly including a molded polymeric frame having a lower portion in which an ice blade or wheel are mounted and spaced front and rear upper portions each having spaced side wall portions projecting from the lower portion. The upper portions can be releasably attached to the attachment portions by engaging longitudinal tongues on one of the portions in grooves in the other, and a fastening system is provided for retaining the portions with the tongues in the grooves in an engaged position.

An automatic folding headboard for a folding wallbed functions, when the bed is in its horizontal use position, to cover the recess in the wall or cabinet into which the bed folds. The headboard automatically folds to a storage position in response to movement of the bed to its vertical storage position, without the need for separate mechanical actuators or manual operations by the operator. The headboard assembly is selectively releasable to provide access to the hinge mechanism for the bed.

A table is disclosed having extension leaves secured to opposite edges of the table top by hinges. The hinges include a first hinge member which is secured to the leaf and a second hinge member which is connected to the table top and is slidable relative to the table top. The first and second hinge members are pivotally connected to one another by a pivot pin carried by the slidable second hinge member and received within an elongated slot of the first hinge member. A rigid stop is secured to the second hinge member and spaced away from the pivot pin a distance less than a radius from the first end of the slot to the terminal end and a distance less than a radial distance from the second end of the slot to the terminal end.

Extensible table

A bed frame includes special structures for supporting and holding the bed slats in the required spacing. The side frame members of the bed frame each have elongate flange members which project from the side frame member inwardly of the bed and extend substantially the length of the bed and support the ends of the bed slats. A spacer strip having alternate tab and space portions fits across the slats with its space portions receiving the slats and its tab portions fitting between adjacent slats to secure them in the desired spaced relation.
