A hinge for a door is disclosed. The hinge comprises a receiver assembly having a slot, a door leaf having a retaining spring biased away from the door leaf, the door leaf being dimensioned for insertion into the slot and a retaining device associated with the receiver assembly for releasably engaging the retaining spring to releasably retain the door leaf in the slot.

A horizontally adjustable hinge is disclosed. The hinge comprises a base member having a slot and a channel generally perpendicular to the slot, an adjustment nut disposed in the channel, the adjustment nut having a generally circumferential recess and a threaded axial bore, the adjustment nut being rotationally fixed within the channel, a screw threadably engaged in the threaded axial bore and axially fixed relative to the base member and a leaf for insertion into the slot. The leaf has a slot dimensioned to receive the circumferential recess, wherein rotation of the screw moves the adjustment nut axially in the channel, thereby moving the leaf in the slot.

Horizontally adjustable hinge

A reach out lock for a sliding door includes a keeper having a keeper latch and a locking mechanism having a hook to engage the keeper latch. The reach out lock further includes a mechanism which prevents actuation of the locking mechanism if the locking mechanism is out of alignment with the keeper.

The hinge comprises a base member having a slot and a chemical generally perpendicular to the slot, an adjustment nut disposed in the channel, the adjustment nut having a generally circumferential recess and a threaded axial bore, the adjustment nut being rotationally fixed within the channel, a screw threadably engaged in the threaded axial bore and axially fixed relative to the base member and a leaf for insertion into the slot. The leaf has a slot dimensioned to receive the circumferential recess, wherein rotation of the screw moves the adjustment nut axially in the channel, thereby moving the leaf in the slot.

A vertically adjustable hinge is disclosed. The hinge comprises a wing having an internally threaded knuckle, the knuckle having a knuckle slot and a stop surface disposed along the knuckle slot, an adjustment screw threaded into the threaded knuckle, the adjustment screw having a stop tab positioned to travel along the knuckle slot as the adjustment screw travels in the threaded knuckle, wherein the stop tab engages the stop surface to prevent further travel of the adjustment screw in the threaded knuckle and a leaf having a post dimensioned for insertion in the knuckle and into engagement with the adjustment screw, wherein the position of the leaf relative to the wing is determined by the position of the adjustment screw relative to the knuckle.

Balance system for sash window assembly

A guide assembly or balance shoe assembly for slidably and pivotably mounting a window sash to a window jamb is disclosed. The guide assembly includes a shoe housing having sliding surfaces that guide the housing in the jamb channel. A sash pivot is coupled to the window sash and a locking cam is rotatably coupled within the shoe housing. The locking cam includes a sash pivot that retains the sash pivot pin. The locking cam rotates substantially with the sash pivot and the locking cam has a locking surface that is configured to engage the jamb channel when the sash pivot is rotated to a first position.
