An apparatus, a method, and a non-transitory computer readable medium for routing a vehicle are provided. The apparatus includes processing circuitry that is configured to receive a current location of the vehicle, routing information including a destination and at least a dynamic wireless power transmission characteristic or an emission characteristic of the vehicle, and a map database. The processing circuitry is further configured to generate one or more routes between the current location and the destination; determine a route cost for each one of the one or more routes wherein the route cost includes the weighted summation of multiple routing factors including a route time and at least a route factor based on the dynamic wireless power transmission characteristic or the emission characteristic of the vehicle; and select a route out of the one or more routes based on route selection criteria.

System and method for routing a vehicle

A system includes energy modules that output power to an energy management bus based on load demands. An energy module includes energy cells enclosed within a module housing that provide power to the energy management bus and a driving system attached to the module housing that transports the energy module. The energy module includes a local controller that controls power output from the energy cells to the energy management bus, engages a self-driving mode in response to receiving a disconnection signal from a central controller, and controls movement of the energy module in the self-driving mode to a predetermined location via the driving system. The central controller receives a current module status from the energy modules and controls a configuration of the energy modules providing power to the energy management bus based on the current module status.

Methods, systems, and apparatus for wirelessly providing power to a vehicle. The system includes a plurality of ground-side wireless power transfer devices each configured to automatically provide power to a counterpart vehicle-side wireless power transfer device. The system includes a switch connecting a power source to the plurality of ground-side wireless power transfer devices and configured to be in an open position or a closed position. The system includes a vehicle position sensor configured to detect the vehicle being within a range of the plurality of ground-side wireless power transfer devices. The system includes a switch driver configured to move the switch from the open position to the closed position when the vehicle position sensor detects the vehicle being within the range, and move the switch from the closed position to the open position when the vehicle position sensor does not detect the vehicle being within the range.

Bridge circuits provide a reduced amplitude of gate-source voltage oscillation when the switches switch states during short circuit triggered turnoff for protection. Bridge circuits reduce an amplitude of an oscillation voltage between a gate and a source of a transistor that is utilized as a switch in the bridge circuit. This is beneficial because the reduced amplitude reduces the likelihood of damage to the transistor. A bridge circuit includes a first power rail and a second power rail. The bridge circuit further includes a first circuit having a first switch and a second switch connected in parallel between the first power rail and the second power rail. The bridge circuit further includes at least one passive circuit element connected in parallel with a primary energy flow path of the first circuit to damp oscillation voltage of the first circuit.
