The present disclosure relates to neuromuscular stimulation and sensing cuffs. The neuromuscular stimulation cuff has at least two fingers and a plurality of electrodes disposed on each finger. More generally, the neuromuscular stimulation cuff includes an outer, reusable component and an inner, disposable component. One or more electrodes are housed within the reusable component. The neuromuscular stimulation cuff may be produced by providing an insulating substrate layer, forming a conductive circuit on the substrate layer to form a conductive circuit layer, adhering a cover layer onto the conductive circuit layer to form a flexible circuit, and cutting at least one flexible finger from the flexible circuit. The neuromuscular stimulation cuff employs a flexible multi-electrode design which allows for reanimation of complex muscle movements in a patient, including individual finger movement.

Implementations described herein include surgical helmet assemblies that have a helmet enclosure shaped to encircle a head of a user. The helmet enclosure retains a fan and includes a brow bar portion at a front of the helmet enclosure that is shaped to extend along a brow or a forehead of the user and having a light positioned therein. The helmet enclosure also includes a stabilizer extending downward from the helmet enclosure in front of the ears of a user, a face shield that is transparent and coupleable to at least the brow bar portion, a headband shaped to extend across an occiput region of the user's head, and a surgical garment for covering at least the head and shoulders of a user in use. The brow bar portion includes vents disposed therein to direct airflow pushed through the helmet enclosure from the fan onto the user. The face shield is coupleable to the helmet enclosure by one or more of a hook and loop fastener on the helmet enclosure or the stabilizer and a post protruding from the brow bar portion.

Surgical helmet

A thermal measurement system includes a thermocouple configured to couple to a location of a heating element of an electronic smoking article. The thermocouple is structured to measure a surface temperature of the location. A thermocouple data module is operatively connected to the thermocouple and is structured to receive data of the surface temperature from the thermocouple. A pneumatic system is configured to connect to an end of the electronic smoking article and draw an air flow through the electronic smoking article. The pneumatic system includes a solenoid valve having an open state that causes air to flow through the electronic smoking article. The solenoid valve has a closed state that prevents air flow through the electronic smoking article. An infrared camera is disposed over the viewing window. The infrared camera is configured to measure a wire temperature of a heating element wire of the electronic smoking article.

A apparatus for pipeline integrity monitoring comprising a magnetically permeable backing bar and at least three magnets comprising a relatively medium-strength magnet positioned at one end of the backing bar, a relatively low-strength magnet positioned at the other end of the backing bar, and a relative high-strength magnet positioned between the medium-strength and the low-strength magnet. The at least three magnets are adapted and positioned to induce a plurality of resultant fields within the pipeline wall comprising a first resultant field suitable for detecting a reduced metal-related anomaly and a second resultant field suitable for detecting a mechanically worked-related anomaly. Preferably, the first resultant field has a strength greater than 120 Oersted and the second resultant field has a strength between 40 and 80 Oersted.

Pipeline inspection apparatus and method

A board game comprising a game board divided into a plurality of horizontally and vertically disposed rows of squares, the horizontal rows constituting a game track extending from one corner of the board to the diagonally opposite corner. The squares represent companies the stocks of which are traded between players and between players and the board, the squares being divided into debit and credit sides. Special security transaction squares are also provided on the game board for transactions between players or between players and the board. A portfolio card is provided for each player, the surface of which reflects the companies appearing on the game board so that each player can keep a record of his stock portfolio. The game is further provided with accessory pieces in the form of markers to record players movement across the track of the board; a pair of dice in response to the roll of which movement of a marker is made; stock certificates of the companies represented on the game board; simulated currency for engaging in stock transactions; and debit and credit cards used in one of the special security transactions.
