Electrochemical cells and methods for their production are provided. In particular, multi-well assay plates including multi-electrode wells are provided. The multi-electrode wells contain multiple electrodes that are electrically isolated from one another, permitting the various electrodes of the various wells to be addressed in any suitable combination.

Electrochemical cell devices and methods of manufacturing

The invention relates to novel compositions comprising an electrochemiluminescence (ECL) co-reactant. In embodiments, the composition further comprises an ionic component, a surfactant, or combination thereof. In embodiments, the ECL co-reactant is triethanolamine (TEA), tert-butyldiethanolamine (tBDEA), methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), 3-[Bis-(2-hydroxy-ethyl)-amino]-propane-1-sulfonic acid (DEA-PS), or a combination thereof. Methods of using the compositions and kits comprising the compositions are also provided herein.

The present invention is directed to methods for improving assay specificity and performance in binding assays.

Assay methods

A method of interactively navigating a user through a path of menu choices on a user interface may include displaying a current menu of choices on a first portion of a user interface display. The user interface allows for selecting of a menu item from the current menu of choices and to drill down through levels of menu choices based on selecting a menu item from a prior level of menu choices. A second portion of the user interface display presents past selected and past unselected menu items of the drilled-down levels. The past unselected menu items are displayed as selectable options. The user interface allows for jumping to a different path of menu choices by selecting a past unselected menu item from a previously navigated menu level displayed on the second portion of the user interface display.

Co-binder assisted assay methods

The present invention relates to methods, devices and systems for associating consumable data with an assay consumable used in a biological assay. Provided are assay systems and associated consumables, wherein the assay system adjusts one or more steps of an assay protocol based on consumable data specific for that consumable. Various types of consumable data are described, as well as methods of using such data in the conduct of an assay by an assay system. The present invention also relates to consumables (e.g., kits and reagent containers), software, data deployable bundles, computer-readable media, loading carts, instruments, systems, and methods, for performing automated biological assays.

Integrated consumable data management system and platform

We describe apparatuses, systems, method, reagents, and kits for conducting assays as well as process for their preparation. They are particularly well suited for conducting automated sampling, sample preparation, and analysis in a multi-well plate assay format. For example, they may be used for automated analysis of particulates in air and/or liquid samples derived therefrom in environmental monitoring.

Compositions and methods for carrying out assay measurements

Assay cartridges are described that have a detection chamber, preferably having integrated electrodes, and other fluidic components which may include sample chambers, waste chambers, conduits, vents, bubble traps, reagent chambers, dry reagent pill zones and the like. In certain embodiments, these cartridges are adapted to receive and analyze a sample collected on an applicator stick. Also described are kits including such cartridges and a cartridge reader configured to analyze an assay conducted using an assay cartridge.
