A shooting simulation system and method. The system includes a plurality of firearms. Each firearm is associated with a separate soldier having a man-worn computer, a location device for determining a location of the soldier, an optical system for capturing an image where the captured image provides information on a trajectory of a virtual bullet fired from a shooting firearm, and an orientation device for obtaining the orientation of the firearm when shooting the firearm. Furthermore, the system includes an aerial drone having a camera to capture a second image. The system also includes a shooter/target location resolution module for identifying a valid target and a target image recognition module for determining an impact location where a virtual bullet from the shooting firearm would impact within the captured images and determining if an identified target from the captured images is a hit or a miss.

System and method of marksmanship training utilizing a drone and an optical system

A tactical awareness system. The system includes a plurality of soldiers affiliated with a friendly force, where each soldier has a man-worn computer, a Global Positioning System (GPS) device for determining a location of the soldier, and a smart camera for capturing an image. The plurality of soldiers communicates wirelessly with each other via a network. The location of each soldier is distributed to all soldiers affiliated with the friendly force via the network. The smart camera captures an image when activated by one of the plurality of soldiers and a target image recognition module is used for determining if an enemy or friendly force is identified in a captured image by the smart camera. Furthermore, each smart camera includes a Camera Orientation Module (COM) for obtaining the orientation relative to a known three-dimensional coordinate system of the smart camera.

A shooting simulation system and method. The system includes a plurality of firearms. Each firearm is associated with a separate soldier having a man-worn computer, a location device for determining a location of the soldier, an optical system for capturing an image where the captured image provides information on a trajectory of a virtual bullet fired from a shooting firearm, and an orientation device for obtaining the orientation of the firearm when shooting the firearm. The optical system is aligned with a sight of the shooting firearm and captures the image when shooting the firearm. System and method of marksmanship training utilizing an optical system

The embodiments herein provide a tool for assisting users while docking a boat. According to an embodiment herein, a boarding aid mechanism for a boat for assisting a passenger while docking a boat includes a clamp, a vertical slide arm and a dock arm. The clamp is secured to one side of the boat. The vertical slide arm is mechanically coupled to the clamp using a pin. The vertical slide arm comprises a rubber handgrip for supporting and balancing the passenger. The dock arm is an L shaped structure extending from the vertical slide arm. The dock arm is slid into the vertical slide arm and further the vertical slide arm is secured to the clamp.

An indirect fire simulation system includes a plurality of communication devices where each communication device is associated with a separate player. Each communication device includes a location services device for determining a location of the communication device which is communicated to a game server. The locations of all the communication devices are revealed to all the communication devices. Each communication device includes a directional orientation mechanism used when creating a targeting solution of a simulated indirect fire weapon. A processor is used for determining if a simulated targeting of another player by a simulated indirect fire weapon is a hit or miss based on the location indicia of a shooting communication device and the directional orientation of the shooting communication device. The targeting solution may be determined by aligning an aiming vector over the targeted communication device shown on a display of the shooting communication device.

A shooting simulation system. The shooting system includes a shooting simulation device for targeting a target and a computing device having a processor and a memory. The computing device has a processor and a memory. The memory stores a set of instructions and the processor executes the instructions whereby the instructions determine a target profile based on a current perceived parameter of the targeting of the target. The processor then assigns the determined target profile for use in determining a hit or miss of the targeting of the target by the shooting device.

Each communication device includes a mechanism for determining a directional orientation of the communication device when aimed and a processor for determining if a simulated targeting of another player is a hit or miss based on the location indicia of a shooting communication device, the location indicia of a communication device of a targeted player, and the directional orientation of the shooting communication device.

Simulated shooting system and method

An error correction system for a shooting simulation system. The error correction system includes a mechanism for gathering and storing historical data of a communication device utilized in a shooting simulation system. The historical data includes hit and miss results of the communication device in a targeting of a target over a predetermined period of time. The system also includes a processor for analyzing the historical data of the communication device to determine errors caused by the communication device. The processor determines an error correction to correct the errors caused by the communication device. The processor then implements the error correction to determine a hit or miss of a targeting of a target. The error correction system may also utilize historical data from shots taken by a shooter and motion of the communication device being aimed immediately prior to targeting a target to determine an appropriate error correction.

A shooting simulation system and method. The system includes a firearm associated with a user having a user computer and an optical system for capturing an image. The image provides information on a trajectory of a virtual bullet fired from the firearm. The optical system is aligned relative to a known sight of the firearm and the optical system captures the image when shooting the firearm. An image recognition system determines a location where a virtual bullet from the shooting firearm would impact within the captured image.

A shooting simulation system and method. The system a firearm held by a user. In addition, the user has a user computer and an optical system associated with the firearm for capturing an image. The image provides information on a trajectory of a simulated bullet fired from a shooting firearm. The optical system is aligned relative to a known sight of the shooting firearm. The optical system captures the image when a trigger of the shooting firearm is pulled. The system also includes an image recognition system for determining if the captured image is a legitimate target. The user computer determines if the captured image is a hit or a miss of the target using only information obtained from the optical system and image recognition system for determining if the captured image is a hit or a miss of a target.

Shooting simulation system and method using an optical recognition system

A shooting simulation system and method. The system includes a plurality of firearms. Each firearm is held by a separate player and includes a man-worn computer, an optical system associated with the firearm for capturing an image. The image provides information on a trajectory of a simulated bullet fired from a shooting firearm. The system determines if the captured image is a hit or a miss of targeted player and informs a man-worn computer of the targeted player of a hit by the shooting firearm. The determination if the captured image is a hit or miss and identity of the targeted player may include utilizing various types of information, such as the location of the shooting firearm and the targeted player, orientation of the shooting firearm, trajectory of the projected ammunition of the shooting firearm, terrain data and atmospheric conditions.
