A portable, adjustable disposable medical suction system and method of use is disclosed. The system includes a delivery device to provide a conduit from a surgical site on a patient to the portable, adjustable medical suction system. The suction system may be a battery powered vacuum pump with one or more different adjustments directed to a strength of the vacuum, duration of the vacuum and interval between suction. The delivery device may be an intranasal tampon device or a tube inserted into the surgical site. During surgery and recovery at a surgical center or hospital, the vacuum source attached to the delivery system may be an industrial type vacuum source. Upon discharge, the suction system can be connected to the delivery system so that bleeding can be resolved by the patient in the comfort of his/her own home. The system and method of use is safer and mitigates body fluid borne contamination.

Portable, adjustable disposable medical suction system and method of use

A concrete mixer truck frame is distorted when a concrete truck traverses a rough road and when the vehicle turns. Flexible mounting of pedestals which support the mixer drum accommodates distortion of the frame yet provides a rigid platform for the mixer drum. Each pedestal includes an upright frame with lower ends connected to side frame members with self aligning bearings. A central portion of a pedestal is flexibly connected to an upper part of a diagonal link with self aligning bearings. The truck frame includes 'C' shaped cross members connected to the side frame members. A lower end of the diagonal link is flexibly connected to one of the cross members so that the load passes through the shear center of the 'C' shaped cross member.

Truck mixer mounting frame

A hydraulic system for a weight-load transferring mechanism for a vehicle in which a pivoted frame carries wheels and the hydraulic system raises and lowers those wheels. The system employs a directional control valve for switching the supply of pressurized hydraulic fluid from one side to the other of the operating cylinder and piston assembly without depressurizing the entire system and an accumulator is continually connected to the pressurized side for supplying the necessary fluid when switching from one mode of operation to another. The desired predetermined pressure in the system is maintained by a pressure switch operating a solenoid dump valve to allow continuous operation of the pump.
