One or more example embodiments of the present invention relates to a fin for collimating therapeutic radiation. The fin comprises a collimation area made of a first material and a holding area made of a second material. Herein, the collimation area and the holding area are pressed together. Herein, the first material is formed to collimate therapeutic radiation. Herein, the holding area can be coupled to an adjustment device for adjusting the fin.

The gantry is arranged on an upper side of a support frame of the carriage. The support frame includes at least one shaped profile tube.

One or more example embodiments of the present invention relates to a fin for collimating therapeutic radiation. The fin comprises a collimation area made of a first material and a holding area made of a second material. Herein, the collimation area and the holding area are soldered together. Herein, the first material is formed to collimate therapeutic radiation. Herein, the holding area can be coupled to an adjustment device for adjusting the fin.

A rotor for an electric machine has a surface with projections. Each projection protrudes from the rotor in an essentially axial direction and is configured to define a groove between the projection and the surface. The groove of one projection of two adjacent projections and the groove of the other one projection of the two adjacent projections is open towards a region between the adjacent two projections. A cover engages in the grooves of the adjacent two projections, and a sealing compound is applied in the form of a fillet seam between the cover and the adjacent two projections. Received in an intermediate space between the cover and the surface is a permanent magnet, and a pouring compound is received in a remaining hollow space defined between the permanent magnet and the cover and/or the permanent magnet and the surface.

A mobile patient bed includes a bench that may be moved vertically via a lifting mechanism. Vertical movement may be effected via a first, electric drive mechanism including a drive device that may be operated when connected to an energy supply. As an alternative, vertical movement may be effected via a second drive mechanism that may be actuated by the operator using a foot pedal. The drive device is a drive motor that is coupled to the lifting mechanism via a motor shaft and is coupled to the second drive mechanism via a clutch. The clutch is closed with no connection to the energy supply and is opened with connection established. The motor shaft may be driven via the second drive mechanism when the clutch is closed.

A support cradle for a computer tomorgraph, in which the rotating body together with the X-ray emitter and the X-ray detector, which is situated opposite said emitter, can be ratably mounted. The support cradle includes a suitable pedestal that has two vertical supports, in addition to a gantry, which is mounted between the vertical supports and can be rotated about a horizontal transverse axis. According to the invention, the support cradle comprises a cooling device that is simple to manufacture. Said device is configured at least partially as a hollow section. A cavity in the support cradle acts as a conduit for supplying or evacuating a coolant.
