The invention relates to an air treatment apparatus for a domestic appliance, with at least one air flow device being provided, by means of which an air flow into and/or out of the air treatment apparatus can be generated, the air flow passing through at least one treatment device, and the air treatment apparatus having a closure device by means of which the air treatment apparatus can be sealingly closed.

A dosing system for installation in a domestic dishwasher is disclosed. The dosing system in some embodiments permits the automated delivery of a defined dose of a detergent in powder form into a dishwashing chamber of the dishwasher. It comprises for this purpose a supply chamber for receiving a supply of the detergent and an extracting mechanism for extracting a dose of the detergent from the supply and for delivering the extracted dose into a fall channel. In order to assist with expelling an extracted dose of the detergent powder from the fall channel or/and to accelerate drying of the fall channel, the dosing system in some embodiments includes a fan for generating a blowing air stream which flows through at least parts of the fall channel.

The door lock further comprises an electrically controllable actuator for actuating the locking member, and an electrical door detection switch that switches depending on the closing of the door. The doer lock also comprises an electrical auxiliary switch device, which selectively opens or closes an electrical shunt path to the door detection switch depending on the position of the locking member.

The blocking engagement effects blocking of the closed door against opening. In the release position, the auxiliary member allows the locking member to be transferred from the unlocking position into the locking position; in contrast, in its blocking position, the auxiliary member blocks the locking member against being transferred from the unlocking position into the locking position.

A shelf assembly for a refrigerator or freezer includes a receiving plate for receiving objects, a holding arrangement which is joined to the receiving plate to form a structural unit and by means of which the shelf assembly can be mounted in a cooling or freezing space of the refrigerator or freezer on delimiting walls of the cooling or freezing space, and an electrical consumer such as a lighting module. The holding arrangement has a holding element which is arranged in the region of a side edge of the receiving plate, extends along the side edge and is made at least in part of an electrically conducting metal material. A dish washer comprises a carcass having a washing compartment accessible through an access opening, and a door attached to the carcass for closing the access opening. The door is bounded on its door side facing the washing compartment by a door inner wall, which provides sealing contact surfaces for a sealing arrangement attached to the carcass. A door latch comprises a latch head attached to the door and fixed relative to the latter, and a latch unit arranged on the carcass and having two latch arms which are movable relative to one another and embrace the latch head on both sides when the door is closed. The latch head rises preferably completely above the surface contour of the door inner wall.
