A locking device for securing a motor vehicle component which is displaceable relative to a motor vehicle structure and which may be secured by means of the locking device within a displacement range in a respective position of rest reached by displacement is provided. The locking device comprising at least one first frictional element and at least one second frictional element, which is moved relative to the first frictional element upon displacement of the motor vehicle component and thereby may slide with a friction surface along a friction surface of the first frictional element under sliding friction conditions and which, in a respective position of rest of the motor vehicle component, with its friction surface bears against the friction surface of the second frictional element under static friction conditions. A flowable additional medium is provided which may be brought, upon a relative movement of the frictional elements, between their friction surfaces.

A drive device with override function for a moving device in motor vehicles includes a drive element, an output element with a rotationally symmetrical surface connected to the moving device, and a connecting device, which under a drive-side load transmits a drive torque to the output element and in the absence of the drive-side load releases the output element. The drive device further includes a carrier wrap spring, which is operatively connected to the drive element and can be brought into engagement with the rotationally symmetrical surface of the output element, together with a control element, which under a drive-side load braces the carrier wrap spring with the rotationally symmetrical surface of the output element and in the absence of the drive-side load releases the bracing of the carrier element with the rotationally symmetrical surface of the output element.

To reduce stresses during closing of a manually closable body component, e.g. a door, a control device and a method of controlling closing movement in which, during the closing movement, from an opened position, the body component passes through first movement range in which the body component is moved towards the closed position without any action by a control member, and, thereafter, the body component passes through a second movement range in which the closing movement is varied by the action of the control member that residual kinetic energy of the body component does not exceed a predetermined limit value after passing through the second movement range, irrespective of the initial speed. The residual kinetic energy is not sufficient to close the body component automatically, so it is automatically drawn in a third movement range until a pre catch or main catch of a lock is reached.

In a force transmission system with a wrapping spring-type wraparound element and with a frictional surface assigned to the wraparound element, a switching device is provided for switching the wraparound element between two switching states is provided. In the first switching state, the wraparound element is operatively connected in a force-transmitting manner to the frictional surface. In the second switching state, it is operatively connected thereto in a non-force-transmitting manner. In the second switching state, the wraparound element is fully lifted off the frictional surface. The force transmission system is suitable in particular for a drive system of an adjusting element of a motor vehicle.

The invention relates to an adjustment fitting for a vehicle seat. The adjustment fitting includes a first fitting part and a second fitting part connected by a wobble mechanism. The wobble mechanism includes a central wheel that is rotatable about a central axis and is connected to the first fitting part. A revolving wheel is arranged in the interior of the central wheel eccentrically with respect to the central axis and is connected to the second fitting part. The central wheel and the revolving wheel form, with respect to each other, an eccentric receiving space in which a first eccentric and a second eccentric are arranged rotatably in relation to each other. The revolving wheel engages in a play-free manner in the central wheel and with a transmission element that is rotatable about the central axis.

A manual adjustment of a back support on a vehicle seat includes a cable pulley which is selectively rotatable in a drive direction or in a driven direction oriented counter to the drive direction, and a tensile device associated with the cable pulley, which may be rolled up onto the cable pulley by rotating the cable pulley in the drive direction. The tensile device is able to be coupled to a back support of a vehicle seat such that the rotation of the cable pulley in the drive direction and/or driven direction affects an adjustment of the back support. A pretensioning acts on the cable pulley -which produces a torque of the cable pulley in the driven direction.

The coupling is provided with a reinforcing lever, which is actively connected to the drive element.

Adjustment device for producing a two-sided rotational movement

The invention relates to a bidirectional drive for rotating in the one or the other direction of drive a drive wheel which is linked with an adjusting device. The bidirectional drive includes a drive lever which can be rotated about a drive axis, starting from an initial position, in the one or the other direction. The lever is linked with a coupling element for expanding a spring element that is at least partially supported by the cylindrical drive surface of the drive wheel and that entrains the drive wheel in the peripheral direction when the drive lever is moved away from the initial position, while the spring element is no longer supported by the cylindrical drive surface of the drive wheel and the drive wheel is not entrained when the drive lever is returned to the initial position. The coupling element includes expansion cams that can be tilted about an axis spaced apart from the drive axis. The expansion cams expand the actuation lever which is linked with the spring element in such a manner that the spring element which is supported by the cylindrical drive surface of the drive wheel is expanded.

Bidirectional drive

A displacement device for producing a rotational movement with an output element adjustable in angle by operating a drive element. A load torque lock mounted between the drive element and the output element blocks, with force locking connection, torque introduced on the output side and transfers torque introduced on the drive side to the output element. Between the drive element and the load torque lock and/or between the output element and the load torque lock is a play compensating device which compensates the torsion angle play between the drive element, the output element and the load torque lock. The displacement device is used in particular for window lifters or seat adjusters of vehicles.

A drive which operates on both sides for use in adjusting devices, such as motor vehicle seats, includes a drive lever, a drive wheel, and coupling elements. The pivotally mounted drive lever is for, starting from an initial position, effecting a turning movement in one direction or the other as desired. The drive wheel is turned when the drive lever is moved out of the initial position. The coupling elements are arranged on the drive lever and have coupling areas for transmitting a turning movement onto the drive wheel. In order to transmit a turning movement, the coupling element can be coupled to the drive wheel via at least one positive locking element and by at least one elastic element.

Drive which acts on both sides and for use in adjusting devices in motor vehicles

A follower for holding a window pane is adjustable by a motor vehicle window lifter. The follower is connectable to the window lifter and has at least one retaining arm which can be brought into engagement with the window pane and thereby extends at least in part along a window pane surface. The follower is designed so that in the event of the window pane being loaded with force (F) in the lifting direction (H) a torque is exerted on the retaining arm of the follower. The torque is exerted in the direction of the window pane surface to press the retaining arm toward the window pane and prevent the window pane from becoming disengaged and sliding out from the follower.

A two-directional manual drive which produces a rotational movement, starting from the neutral position of a drive lever which can pivot around a drive axis whereby the rotational movement can occur in a selective manner in one of two rotational directions, includes a driven element having a driving surface, on which bearing surfaces of coupling elements are placed in frictional engagement when the drive lever is rotated out of a neutral position, displacing the driven element in the direction of the periphery. When the drive lever is returned to the neutral position the coupling elements are released from a position of frictional engagement with respect to the cylindrical driving surface so that the driven element is no longer displaced.
