An applicatorand a process for the production of an applicator. The applicator serves for distributing a cosmetic preparation on the skin, semi-mucous membrane or mucous membrane and comprises a holding portionand an applicator portionwhich is injected on to the holding portionin the direction of the longitudinal extent of the applicator, wherein both the holding portionand also the applicator portionat least partially comprise plastic material and the plastic material of the holding portionis harder than the plastic material of the applicator portionand wherein the holding portiondoes not form a core which extends into the applicator portionin the direction of the longitudinal extent.

Applicator and process for the production of an applicator

The invention concerns an applicator device comprising a storage means for storing a product to be applied, and an increased pressure-producing device having an elastic device, wherein the elastic device is designed to press with its elastic return force against a boundary means of the storage means, to produce an increased pressure in the storage means. In accordance with the present invention it is provided that the increased pressure-producing device is controllable to provide a reduction in the pressure in the storage means.

Described is a pencil with two refills at mutually opposite ends. Both refills are axially displaceable. Adjusting spindles respectively serve for axial displacement, of which a first adjusting spindle is tubular and there is at least one first operating position in which the second adjusting spindle projects with its end remote from the second refill into the first adjusting spindle. According to the invention it is provided that there is at least one second operating position in which the second adjusting spindle does not project with its end remote from the second refill into the first adjusting spindle. A process for producing a stick-like implement, having a first sleeve, having a second sleeve with an insertion section for insertion into the first sleeve, it being possible for the two sleeves to be rotated with respect to one another in the inserted state, having an externally threaded element which is coupled to the second sleeve in a rotationally fixed but axially displaceable manner and is designed to mesh with an internally threaded element which is coupled to the first sleeve in a rotationally fixed manner, with the result that rotation of the two sleeves with respect to one another results in axial displacement of the externally threaded element in relation to the sleeves, and having a filler element which, in the case of corresponding axial displacement of the externally threaded element on account of rotation of the two sleeves with respect to one another, is pushed out of a sleeve opening. The second sleeve and the internally threaded element are inserted into the first sleeve as parts which are connected to one another, the connection of the second sleeve to the internally threaded element being such that it is released when the sleeves are rotated with respect to one another.

Described is a device for applying a powdery, pasty, gel-like or liquid cosmetic product to skin or hair. The application device comprises at least one application element which is used to hold the cosmetic product and release it onto the skin or hair upon touching the skin or hair. According to the invention, the application element is elongated and extends along an at least partially convex circumferential line of the device.

Applicator

An applicator device for a viscous material such as a cosmetic material comprises a metering pumping means for discharge of the material, in the form of a piston-cylinder unit arranged transversely with respect to the axis of the housing of the applicator device. The piston of the unit projects out of the housing of the applicator device, so that the piston is freely accessible from the outside.

An applicator, especially for applying nail varnish, is associated with a closing cap with a reservoir for keeping the coating member moist. Located in the closing cap is a closing element which, when the closing cap is pulled off the applicator, closes the space containing the reservoir in order to prevent the reservoir from drying out.

In an applicator device for applying a material such as nail varnish, with a metering pump, provided separately from the feed duct through which the viscous material passes from the container therefor to an applicator member is a pressure compensating duct which can be communicated with a vent passage extending into the interior of the container, to compensate for variations in pressure within the container. A control valve controls both the communication of the interior of the container with the applicator member through the feed duct, and also the communication of the pressure compensating duct with the vent passage. The vent passage is adapted to be closed by a non-return valve opening towards the interior of the container.
