A driver assistance system for assisting a driver in achieving consumption-controlled driving combines haptic and visual acknowledgment functions, particularly in the form of a drive configuration, a display concept, and/or a deceleration assistant. A modified characteristic accelerator pedal curve is utilized, and ECO tips of the interactive output of efficient driving instructions are provided.

Driver assistance system for assisting the driver for the purpose of consumption-controlled driving

A method is provided for the open-loop or closed-loop control of at least one operating parameter of an electric energy accumulator influencing the aging state of the electric energy accumulator. The method determines the actual aging state of the electric energy accumulator, compares the actual aging state with a target aging state predefined for the momentary age of the energy accumulator, and restricts an operating parameter range permitted for the at least one operating parameter if the actual aging state is worse than the target aging state.

Method for controlling at least one operating parameter that influences the aging state of an electrical energy store in an open-loop or closed-loop manner

For controlling the charge state of a battery in a hybrid vehicle having an internal-combustion engine and an electric machine, the battery is operated in a working state-of-charge range falling within a theoretically possible state-of-charge range. In a first sub-range, the battery is charged by the electric machine, the electric machine working as a generator and being engine driven. In a second sub-range, the battery is neither charged nor discharged, the electric machine working as a generator and being driven by the engine and, in the process, supplying only an on-board power supply system of the hybrid vehicle with current. In a third sub-range, the battery is discharged and, in the process, supplies the on-board power supply system with current, the electric machine running along passively. In a fourth sub-range, the battery is discharged and, in the process, supplies current to the electric machine operating as an electric motor.
