A device for extracting drilling sludge for use at difficult to access locations on a building site includes a main body. The main body has a cavity on a lower side of the main body and a drilling sludge that is disposed in the cavity during a use of the device is extractable from the cavity by a suction device. The main body also has an extraction opening which opens into the cavity.

An arrangement of components in a portable wet vacuum cleaner, wherein the wet vacuum cleaner includes a container for collecting a liquid-dirt mixture.
