A device for forming an immersion film between a front lens of a microscope objective and a preparation on an inverted microscope. The device includes a protection device for preventing fluid leakage from the immersion film region, and an apparatus for supplying the immersion fluid (auto-immersion) to the immersion film region. The protection device is arranged statically in the main part of the microscope stand and the means for supplying immersion fluid to the immersion film region is connected to the protection device by means of an Aquastop system.

Device for forming an immersion film

The invention relates to an objective lens mount () with specimen protection and crush protection for objective lenses () on a microscope, consisting of an outer objective lens collar () having a unit () for mounting on an interface of the microscope, preferably on a microscope stand, and a safety element () arranged spring mounted and axially movable in the objective lens collar (), which safety element contains the objective lens (). According to the invention, in order to maintain a definable stand-off distance between the front lens () of the objective lens () and the safety element () in the objective lens mount (), a sensor () is provided, coupled to a control unit.

Objective lens mount

An immersion objective for a light microscope with a first lens group including a first and second lenses, with a third lens arranged behind the first lens group, a first air gap between the first lens group and the third lens, with a second lens group behind the third lens and including fourth, fifth and sixth lenses, a second air gap formed the third lens and the second lens group, and a third lens group behind the second lens group including seventh, eighth and ninth lenses. Tenth, eleventh and twelfth lens are provided behind the third lens group. For correction of aberrations a fourth air gap is formed between the third lens group and the tenth lens, a fifth air gap is formed between the tenth lens and the eleventh lens and a sixth air gap is formed between the eleventh lens and the twelfth lens.

Immersion objective and light microscope

A controller for microscope lenses for correcting spherical aberration and for adjusting particularly difficult to access microscope lenses to an optimum of imaging quality, enabling automatic adjustment of the different actuators of a microscope lens, to effect a simple, cost-effective, user-friendly, and precise balance, particularly of cover slip deviations and different base thicknesses of Petri dishes for the purposes of increasing imaging quality. At least two movable elements of a microscope objective supporting lenses or lens groups, are provided in a movable manner in the axial direction along the optical axis of the microscope objective relative to the housing of the microscope lens in a motor-actuated manner by way of respective adjusting rings. A controller externally controlled and disposed in the microscope lens is provided for storing different characteristic curves for paths of motion of the movable elements.

Controller for actuators in microscope lenses

The invention relates to a ring illumination device () for a microscope objective (), and a microscope objective () provided with such a ring illumination device (). The ring illumination device () has at least two LED units () which are accommodated in an illumination ring () which can be connected to the microscope objective (). According to the invention, the ring illumination device () has at least one lower entrance opening () and at least one upper outlet opening () for cooling air, for cooling the LED units ().

A device for attaching a first optical microscope component part to a second part includes an annular receptacle attached to the second part and an annual insertion part. The annular insertion part includes outside-conical retaining projections. The receptacle includes a base ring having a retaining collar with an inside cone tapering away from the base ring and in which a lateral opening is formed, through which the insertion part can be inserted in the receptacle such that it is located on a pre-locking position in which the annular openings overlap. The insertion part and the receptacle can be moved by reciprocal rotation from the pre-locking position into a locking position in which the outside-conical retaining projections of the insertion part are seated against the inside cone of the retaining collar and press the insertion part on the base ring, whereby the insertion part is locked to the receptacle.

Attachment of optical microscope components

The present disclosure relates to a family of microscopes, each with at least one lens group that includes at least one lens and a lens mount and moves along the optical axis via a drive system for The drive system includes a rotary motor and transmission elements to convert the rotary motion to linear motion to transmit the translational movement to the lens group, and, simultaneously, to prevent rotations of the lens group about the optical axis. In an embodiment, the rotating output shaft of the motor is connected with a screw spindle that engages with a threaded hole machined into the lens mount, so that the lens group is directly moved in a translational manner. The engagement of the screw spindle with the lens mount both effects the translational movement of the lens group and secures the lens group against rotation about the optical axis.

The invention relates to a planapochromatically-corrected immersion microscope objective for high-resolution microscopy applications with changing dispersive immersion conditions, having a plurality of lenses and/or subsystems (T, T, T) comprising lens groups and a corrective function (LA) for eliminating spherical aberrations. According to the invention, the microscope objective has an additional corrective function (LA) for eliminating longitudinal chromatic aberrations caused by dispersive changes in the immersion by changing the air gaps between the lenses or gap combinations, wherein the influence on the longitudinal chromatic aberration corresponds to a rotation of the curve s(&#x3bb;), which describes the color point (s) as a function of the wavelength (&#x3bb;).

Planapochromatically-corrected microscope objective

An objective lens assembly is provided, with a sleeve, a first positioning member arranged in the sleeve, which is housed displaceable in longitudinal direction of the sleeve and holds at least one lens, a first adjustment unit which brings the first positioning member into abutment on the inside of the sleeve such that the first positioning member rests against the inside of the sleeve in a first linear contact area and at the same time the displaceability of the first positioning member is maintained. More than one positioning member can be utilized along with multiple lenses and can utilize simple mechanical structures (e.g., blind- and through-holes and pins or shanks) and/or magnetic or magnetizable materials to maintain a desired position of the sleeve.

Objective lens assembly

The invention is directed to a temperature-controllable objective, particularly for microscopes and other optical equipment, which comprises a main barrel as the main component part of the objective. The main barrel contains at least one correction mount, cylinder sleeves, mounting rings, carrier rings and/or adjusting rings, and imaging optical elements. In order to control the temperature, at least one structural component part of the objective or an element arranged between structural component parts of the objective is constructed as a temperature-controllable element or as a temperature-controllable foil which is connected (not shown) by leads to a device for monitoring temperature. Further, a temperature gauge or temperature sensor is arranged in the objective and is likewise connected to the device for monitoring temperature.

Temperable lens, especially for microscopes

The invention is directed to a microscope objective with axially adjustable correction mounts and is applicable in connection with different cover slips and/or different immersion liquids and/or at different work temperatures. In the microscope objective according to the invention, helical springs which are uniformly distributed along the circumference and act in axial direction are fixed by a first ring which has pins in axial direction on which the helical springs are arranged. The pins engage in bore holes of a second ring. The bore holes are at least deep enough to ensure the required spring path. The two rings with the helical springs arranged therebetween on the pins form a spring retainer which ensures a movement of the parts without play and/or in a springing manner. In principle, the proposed solution can be substituted for all pressure springs in microscope objectives and other objectives and can overcome the disadvantages of using individual springs.

Microscope objective with axially adjustable correction mounts

A microscope objective with high aperture, large object field and apochromatic correction in the wavelength range from ultraviolet to infrared. The microscope objective includes, starting from the object level: a first group of lenses with overall positive refraction power, including a cemented group with positive-negative refraction power effect, made out of one of two lenses, and of a further lens with positive refraction power, a second group of lenses with positive refraction power, including three cemented lenses, a third group of lenses with negative refraction power, including three cemented lenses, in which the side that faces the image plane is convex, a fourth group of lenses, consisting of a lens with positive refraction power and a cemented group of two lenses with positive-negative refraction power, and a fifth group of lenses, including two lenses in a cemented group with negative-positive refraction power.

Apochromatically corrected microscope objective

A microscope objective has axially adjustable correction mounts for adapting to different parameters influencing the imaging quality. The axial adjustment of the correction mounts relative to a stationary barrel is realized by an adjusting ring arranged on the outer side of the barrel by means of a bolt or screw which is arranged in the respective correction mount, is directed radial to the optical axis of the objective and engages in through-openings of threaded rings. The objective has at least three correction mounts which are adjustable in direction of the optical axis of the objective by at least one adjusting ring without additional rotation around the optical axis of the objective.

A microscope with an exchangeable intermediate tube that is inserted between the microscope objective and an ocular eyepiece instead of the tube lens and which is adjustable in a defined manner with respect to its height and has relay or transfer optics with an essentially constant intersection length, comprising, in the observation direction, a first lens group with a long focal length, preferably greater than 10 m, and a second lens group with a short focal length whose common focal length corresponds to the focal length of a standard tube lens, preferably approximately 164 mm, wherein the distance between the first and second lens group is adjustable.
