A device for connecting two components, particularly furniture plates, includes a cup-shaped assembly element and an actuating element rotatably mounted in the assembly element, wherein the actuating element serves to hold a connecting element in the assembly element, and wherein, in the mounted state of the assembly element, the actuating element can be turned from the outside by a tool. The cup-shaped assembly element has a guide duct which extends obliquely relative to the axis of rotation of the actuation element and is directed toward the actuating element. The guide duct through which the tool is to be introduced for turning the actuating element provides the person carrying out the assembly with the precise position of the screwdriver relative to the actuating element.

Device for connecting two components

A dowel-type pin for connecting structural components, particularly for connecting furniture plates, is in a mounted position held over a portion of its length in a receiving opening of at least one of the plates to be connected. The pin is divided in longitudinal direction and has at least two partial pins which are displaceable relative to each other in longitudinal direction and rest against each other in the mounted position. At least one of the partial pins has an inclined abutment surface which ascends in longitudinal direction for a counter abutment surface of the respectively other partial pin.

Dowel-type pin for connecting components, particularly furniture plates

A built-in, pull-out ironing board includes a rear part and a front part which is foldable onto the rear part. The rear part is connected to a pull-out system which is slidably mounted in a guide. The connection of the rear part with the pull-out system is effected through at least one pair of parallelogram-type levers, so that the rear part can be pivoted from a lower position of rest to an upper position of operation. A support member for the front part is longitudinally slidably mounted on the rear part. The pull-out system is connection in an articulated manner through a push arm to the support member. The hinge connection of the push arm to the support member is located in pull-out direction behind the hinge connection of the push arm to the pull-out system.

Foldable pull-out ironing board

The known built-in ironing boards are disposed on a pull-out which is movably mounted in ways so it can be swung via parallelogram guide arm pairs from a lower position at rest into an upper working position. When ironing on such an ironing board, the pull-out must be pulled out first, whereupon the ironing board must be brought into the working position and locked therein. To facilitate handling, there is now provided a naturally flexible member in the form of a flexible connector such as a wire rope which is effective only when the pull-out is extended, in which position it connects the ways, or a part fixed thereto, to the ironing board. Shortly before the end of the pull-out motion of the pull-out, the ironing board is retained by the wire rope so that the parallelogram guide arm pair pivots upwardly, bringing the ironing board into its working position without requiring additional manipulations to accomplish this.
