The invention relates to a mixture for applying a thin polymer, especially less than 6 &#x3bc;m, non-corrosive, electroconductive or semiconductive coating which can be shaped in a low-abrasive manner, to a base. Said mixture contains A) electroconductive and/or semiconductive elements/compounds selected from the group of a) electroconductive and/or semiconductive particles having a particle size distribution with a transfer value dwhich is less than or equal to 6 &#x3bc;m, b) electroconductive and/or semi-conductive polymer compounds, and c) electroconductive and/or semiconductive compounds containing amine and/or ammonium, B) at least one binding agent optionally containing reactive thinning agents, C) at least one crosslinking agent and/or at least one photoinitiator, D) optionally at least one constituent selected from d) post-crosslinking compounds, e) additives, f) anticorrosion pigments, and g) non-particulate corrosion inhibitors, and optionally E) an organic solvent and/or water, the sum of all of the conductive and/or semiconductive elements/compounds A) amounting to between 0.5 and 70 wt. %, and the particle content a) amounting to between 0 and 60 wt. %. The invention also relates to a method for producing a non-corrosive, viscoplastic coating on a base, said coating containing polymer and inorganic particles, and to an electroconductive or semiconductive coating containing polymer and inorganic particles.

The invention relates to an enamel-like mixture containing resin and inorganic particles for applying a polymeric, corrosion-proof, wear-resistant, deformable and electrically conductive covering to a substrate. Said mixture contains at least 10 wt. % of electrically conductive particles having an electrical conductivity better than that of zinc particles and having a Moh's hardness greater than 4 with regard to the solids contents of the mixture. These electrically conductive particles have a particle size distribution in which 3 to 22 vol. % of the electrically conductive particles, measured with a Mastersizer 2000 equipped with measuring head Hydro 2000S of the company Malvern Instruments, are, in a volume representation, larger than the average layer thickness of the dried and, optionally, also hardened covering determined on recordings made using a scanning electron microscope. The invention also relates to a method for producing a corrosion-proof, viscoelastic, wear-resistant, deformable and electrically conductive covering, which contains polymers and inorganic polymers, on a substrate and to corresponding coverings applied to a substrate.

The invention relates to a mixture for the application of a polymeric coating to a substrate. Said mixtures comprises water and optionally an organic solvent, at least one water-dispersible radically polymerizable compound, at least one water-dispersible polymerizable crosslinking compound and at least one water-dispersible compound which forms free radicals upon exposure to actinic radiation. The radically polymerizable compound cannot fully set with the free radicals formed on irradiation at room temperature, but rather comprises further reactive bonds, which lead to further or complete setting with the crosslinking compound. The invention further relates to a method for application of a non-adhesive corrosion protection layer to a substrate, by application of a mixture to the surface of a metallic or polymeric substrate, drying the mixture and irradiation of the applied coating with actinic radiation of such an intensity and for such a period that a solid, hard, tough coating is formed.
