A metallic flat gasket having a through-opening which is covered by a sieve element is described. The gasket serves for sealing a line transition between two components and for capturing particles in the fluid flowing through the line. At leat one metallic layer of the flat gasket has at least two continuations, which extend from the edge of a through-opening into the region of the through-opening, the at least two continuations being curved such that at least two of the continuations merge into each other in one plane or are connected together.

Transmission control devices may have two control boxes, and a planar transmission control plate disposed between the two control boxes. The transmission control plate seals the intermediate space between the two control boxes or the channel portions and borings thereof in the form of a flat gasket. The plate also makes available throughflow-openings between channels or borings in the control boxes for a fluid, the fluid in the channels controlling the function of a transmission. The sealing function is achieved by embossed beads and/or partial coatings.

Transmission control device

A transmission control device has two mutually oppositely arranged counter-components, for example control boxes, and a planar transmission control plate, which is arranged between the two counter-components. The transmission control plate seals the clearance between the two counter-components or their channel portions and bores in the form of a flat seal. The plate also provides through-openings between channels or bores, respectively, in the opposing counter-components, where the fluid in the channels controls the function of a transmission. The sealing function is realized by stamped beads and/or partial coatings. Transmission control plates therefore have fluid through-flow openings so the fluid can flow through from one side of the plate to the other side of the plate. Additional functional elements can be present in the through-flow openings, for example valve elements which stop the through-flow in one direction or combined valve-orifice elements, which restrict the through-flow in one or both directions.

The present invention relates to a control plate as it is for instance used in pneumatic or hydraulic controls. An example of such a control plate is a transmission control plate with which automatic transmissions are controlled hydraulically.

The invention relates to a flat seal such as those that are used in motor vehicle construction in particular. Such flat seals can be used for example as seals in the exhaust tract of internal combustion engines, as cylinder head gaskets, or also as hydraulic system control plates. Hydraulic system control plates, such as transmission control plates for example, always have a sealing function in addition to a fluid control function simultaneously.

Flat gasket

The present invention relates to a flat gasket with filter elements. In order to fulfill the increased requirements with respect to cleanliness, there is an increased demand for the integration of filter elements in flat gaskets. The corresponding filter elements mainly serve for picking of impurities accrued during production as well as other residues circulate via the operational fluids, especially during the initial period of operation of an internal combustion engine or a vehicle.

The invention relates to a metallic flat gasket with at least one metallic gasket layer, which is mainly flat and shows a first and second surface, wherein a plane of the gasket runs centered between said flat areas, wherein a camber is formed within the gasket layer, which protrudes over the first surface of the gasket layer and which has a larger length than width, wherein the camber possesses a first level given by a virtual level, which runs in parallel to the plane of the gasket through the foot of the camber on the first surface of the gasket layer and a second level, given by a further virtual, which runs through the highest point of the camber and also parallel to the plane of the gasket of the gasket layer, wherein the camber possesses a slope area that ascends between the two levels. The slope area is provided with an undulating structure such that it comprises at least two waves each with a wave crest and a wave trough.

The surface structured area () covers the at least one surface () outside of the sealing () and the functional area () at least in regions and the surface structure is formed by alternating depressions () and protrusions () which run on at least one cohort of essentially parallel, straight virtual lines extending over the total area of the structured area ().

The present invention relates to a mounting device having a metallic base plate, from which multiple projections project, and a method for manufacturing this mounting device. The mounting device may be obtained by cutting multiple hook preforms into the surface of the base plate while leaving at least one bending edge per hook preform. Furthermore, hook-like projections are manufactured by bending the hook preforms out of the base plate around the bending edge and possibly lateral protrusions are manufactured on the projections or these are twisted.

The invention relates to a flat gasket, having at least one metallic layer in which at least one port is formed, the metallic layer or at least one of the metallic layers () being formed at least in regions in the form of an undulating and/or serrated profiling () around the port(s).

Flat gasket and method for the production thereof

A gasket may have at least one metallic layer with at least one combustion gas through-opening and at least one fastener through-opening. The fastener through-opening may be at least partially circumferentially bounded by a deformation limiter having a plurality of troughs and crests. All of the troughs and crests are substantially aligned with one another.

A gasket has sealing layer(s) with beads which are assigned to passage opening(s), and stopper layer(s) with a stopper which limits the resilience of the bead(s). The stopper is composed of a plurality of directly successive ridge-shaped elevations and groove-shaped depressions, both being trapezoidal in cross section and both being formed in on both sides of the stopper layer, with setting angles of the trapezium flanks. The trapezoidal elevations of the one side are situated opposite the trapezoidal depressions of the other side. A cross section (Q) which is delimited by opposing trapezium flanks which are adjacent to one another is the same or greater than a cross section (Q) which is delimited between the opposing depressions of the two sides.

Multi-layer metallic flat gasket

The invention relates to a flat gasket comprising at least one metallic layer, in which at least one continuous opening is made, whereby the or at least one metallic layer () is provided, at least in areas, in the shape of an undulated and/or serrated profiling () around the continuous opening(s).

The invention refers to a gasket (), the gasket having at least one metal layer () and at least one metal ring () welded thereto, the metal layer () having at least one through-hole () and the metal ring () being arranged around the through-hole, (). The metal layer () and the metal ring () are welded to each other along a welding bead () which keeps the metal layer () and the metal ring () in a spaced apart relationship to one another. The gasket () has welding joints which are stable for a long time, and thus a high sealing capacity.
