An arrangement for multiple cable introductions into cable sleeves composed of a seal or end member having a plurality of cable introduction nipples characterized by the introduced cables being received in the introduction nipples and being sealed thereto with shrink hose sections. The cable introduction nipples are fixed pressure-tight in admission bores of the seal member or at admission nipples which are provided at the admission bores of the seal members by utilizing nuts engaging threads on one of the nipples and entrapping a sealing insert.

Arrangement for multiple cable introductions in cable sleeves

An arrangement for depositing splicing cables for light waveguides within a cable sleeve provides a separate receptacle for excess length of the light waveguide leads for each of the splicing cassettes. The splicing cassettes and receptacles are respectively arranged on a carrier plate and are held in a fixing arrangement or structure so that an individual carrier plate with its respective splicing cassette can be removed without disturbing or removing the remaining carrier plates and their cassettes.

Arrangement for depositing splicing cassettes for light waveguides

A cable sleeve which is longitudinally water tight, includes a sleeve head which is composed of an outside member having an inner cavity which expands conically from one end towards the other end and an inside member which is introduced in the cavity and has an outside surface which is matched to the conical inside surface of the outside member so that when the two members are assembled, a conical annular gap is formed therebetween for holding leads of the cable in a fanned out manner. If the sleeve head is for a branch fitting, it will be constructed to receive two cables whose leads will both be fanned out in the gap between the inside and outside members, which gap also receives a small amount of sealing compound to form a water tight seal with the leads. The shape of the cavity and the outside surface of the inside member can be each conical or if the head is designed to receive more than one cable, it can have a flattened conical surface to form a flattened conical gap.

A multiple joint box having a socket pipe and sealing bodies, the sealing bodies comprising spirally wound tape having semicircular recesses formed along its length which coincide to form circular cable apertures. The multiple joint box may be applied without the necessity of cutting or desplicing the cable.
