The present invention relates to a composition for feeding a ruminant comprising i) a non-protein nitrogen compound, and ii) a coating surrounding the non-protein nitrogen compound, wherein said coating comprises one or more layers of a mixture of a saturated fat and a fatty acid, and said coating comprises from 60 wt.-%+/−10% to 85 wt.-%+/−10% of the saturated fat, e.g. hydrogenated fat, and from 15 wt.-%+/−10% to 40 wt.-%+/−10% of the fatty acid, each based on the total weight of the coating; a process for the preparation of said composition and its uses, e.g., for improving nitrogen utilization in a ruminant.

Compositions and methods for improving nitrogen utilization in a ruminant

A composition for feeding a ruminant, including i) a core including a biologically active ingredient selected from i) amino acids, ii) proteins, iii) peptides, iv) carbohydrates, v) vitamins, vi) probiotic microorganisms, vii) prebiotic foods, viii) choline and salts, and ix) polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs); and ii) a coating surrounding said core. The coating includes one or more layers of a mixture including from 60 wt %+/−10% to 80 wt %+/−10% of a saturated fat and from 20 wt %+/−10% to 40 wt %+/−10% of a fatty acid, each based on the total weight of the coating. The composition includes from 5 wt %+/−10% to 30 wt %+/−10% of the coating, based on the total weight of the composition.

Disclosed are compositions comprising NPN compound coated with a bypass agent allowing ruminal bypass of the composition and a method for increasing fiber digestibility, a method for increasing feed intake, a method for increasing somatic growth, a method for increasing milk production, a method for reducing N excretion in a ruminant, a method for improving rumen pH stability in a ruminant, a method for preventing or reducing ammonia toxicity in the rumen. The compositions and methods of the invention are particularly suitable for ruminants that are held in harsh climates and/or at remote locations from a farm.

Comb polymers and the use thereof in washing and cleaning agents

The invention relates to co-granules containing a) at least one bleach activator, b) at least one metal-containing bleach catalyst, and c) at least 5 wt. % of at least one organic acid. The co-granules are easy to produce, have a high stability in storage and are advantageously suitable for producing cleaning products and detergents and especially products for cleaning crockery in a machine.

The invention relates to co-granules containing a granule core and a sheath or coating layer surrounding the granule core. Said co-granules are characterized in that the granule core contains a) at least one bleach activator, a2) between 0 and 20 wt. % of the total quantity of at least one bleach catalyst contained in the co-granule, and c) at least one binding agent, and the sheath or coating layer contains d) between 80 and 100 wt. % of the total quantity of the at least one bleach catalyst contained in the co-granule, and e) at least one coating agent. Bleach granules comprising an active coating

A process for preparation of co-granules including one or more bleach activators and one or more bleach agent compounds is described. The bleach component is mixed and coated with a binder selected from the group of fatty acids, fatty acid polyol esters, polyglycols and fatty alcohol oxalkylates. One or more bleach activators is added to this mixture followed by granulation or agglomeration in a mixer, resulting in a bleach co-granule composition including the bleach activator and peroxide components.
