Selective content presentation for the purpose of self-imposed censoring of content is implemented on an electronic device. The selective content presentation involves acquiring a content suppression preference for suppressing content presentation at an electronic device. Subsequently, a content portion and a content selection tag for the content portion are also received at the electronic device. When the electronic device determines based on the content selection tag that a part of content portion is designated for suppression by the content suppression preference, the part of the content portion is obstructed by the electronic device to form a modified content portion. The modified content portion is further presented to a user via the electronic device.

Selective content presentation engine

A content item may be associated with criteria that are to be performed to unlock the content items. In response to a user action, a determination as to whether the user action satisfies the criteria may be made. In response to determining that a user satisfied the criteria, the content item may be unlocked with respect to that user, meaning that the content item may become available to that user, such as via a corresponding user device. If it is determined that the criteria is not satisfied, the content item will remain unavailable to the user. Either a service provider or a user may associate the criteria with the content item, which may include video content, audio content, textual content, or image content.

Criteria-associated media content

Described herein are systems, devices and methods for decrypting content based on location. A media device may decrypt content based on determination of a location-based decryption event. The location-based decryption event may include the media device being located within a location previously defined as authorized to decrypt the content. The location-based decryption event may also include the media device being located within a predetermined distance of a designated reference object.

Techniques are described for generating text in a structured language, such as source code in a programming language, based on audio input. Audible tokens may be associated with higher-level constructs, including design elements such as methods, classes, design patterns, and so forth. Additionally, audible tokens may be associated with lower-level syntactic constructs of a programming language, such as programming language keywords, tokens, and so forth. Techniques may receive and parse the audio input including the audible tokens, and generate source code output. Techniques may also provide audio information indicating a development context that may otherwise be indicated visually in a development environment.

One or more event records associated with incidents that may occur in a network may be created and stored in an event sequence with other related event records. Whether the event records are related may be determined based at least in part on a dependency between network elements associated with the incidents. The one or more event records may be executed by event handlers to create additional event records, which may also be stored in an event sequence with related event records. A user may request event sequences for display at a user device. Event sequences may be processed to provide at least a portion of the sequences based at least in part on user-specific information. A user may interact with and/or respond to event records in the network. Such interactions or responses may also be stored as event records in an event sequence.

Systems and methods for tracking and managing event records associated with network incidents

Certain embodiments herein relate to modeling relationships between users, network elements, and events in an organization. Organizational information regarding users and network elements may be collected and analyzed to create a relationship graph relating users and network elements. The relationship graph may include nodes representing users and network elements and edges connecting pairs of users and/or network elements. The edges may be weighted based on a number of factors, such as operational dependencies, user preferences for receiving information associated with events, and a user's historical actions, which may determine whether a user may receive an event. A relationship graph as described herein may be leveraged to provide various uses, including generating a relationship subgraph that may allow users to identify the impact of events on other users and network elements in an organization.

Systems and methods for modeling relationships between users, network elements, and events

Systems and methods enable users to exchange content, such as chat text, with other users that are consuming like video media. In one implementation, several users collectively group together to form a video session. The video media played during the video session may be selected by a vote of the users. The users in the video session each consume the same video media, and the video media is played on individual user computer devices in a synchronized manner. The users send chat text to one another over a network using a computer user interface. The chat text is superimposed over the synchronized video running on the individual user computer devices.

Techniques for enabling users to acquire multiple items or information about multiple items that appear within an image are described herein. For instance, a user may provide (e.g., upload) or may otherwise find an image that contains multiple items. The user may then request to acquire some or all of the multiple items or may request information regarding some or all of the illustrated items. In some instances, the described techniques initiate acquisition of the elements in accordance with a determined preference of the user.

Systems and methods are provided for partially encrypting one or more portions of an electronic file and decrypting the partially encrypted file. In one implementation, a computer-implemented method partially encrypts an electronic file. The method identifies one or more portions of the electronic file to be encrypted. The one or more portions are identified based on metadata in the electronic file that designate the one or more portions to be encrypted. The method encrypts the identified one or more portions of the electronic file using encryption software.
