A pivoting cursor for a frameless window of a vehicle door, including: a main body portion; a pivoting plate pivotally secured to the main body portion for pivotal movement about an axis; a glass clamping plate; a seal; an adjusting screw for pivoting the pivoting plate with respect to the main body portion, the adjusting screw having a first threaded portion for threadingly engaging an opening in the main body portion; and a locking nut for threadingly engaging a second threaded portion of the adjusting screw, wherein the locking nut is located on an inboard side of the pivoting cursor.

A pivoting cursor for a frameless window. A pivoting cursor for a frameless window of a vehicle door, including: a main body portion; a pivoting plate pivotally secured to the main body portion for pivotal movement about an axis; a clamping plate; a seal; and a threaded adjuster for pivoting the pivoting plate with respect to the main body portion.

A plastic carrier plate for vehicle door is provided. The plastic carrier plate having: a channel structure molded into the plastic carrier plate, the channel structure having a pair channels integrally molded into the plastic carrier plate, wherein the channels provide structural reinforcement to the plastic carrier plate and the channels intersect each other.

A window clip for connecting a window to a window lift includes a clip body having a generally U-shaped profile and a window lift connector attached to the clip body. The clip body includes a pair of generally opposed side walls connected at a closed bottom portion with an opening opposite therefrom, each opposed side wall having an inner face and having a single concave curvilinear surface on the inner face. An isolator is adapted to fit into a clip body. The isolator has a convex curvilinear portions adapted to fit and nest within the concave curvilinear surfaces on each inner face.

Adjustable glass clamp for cable drive window regulators

A vehicle door handle assembly is mounted on a support panel for operating a door latch. The door handle assembly has a D-shaped door handle that includes an integral pivot pin. A lock button has a part cylindrical socket that receives the pivot pin to mount the lock button pivotally on the door handle. The pivot pin is shaped to provide a cross section that has a minimum thickness to facilitate lateral insertion of the pivot pin into the part cylindrical socket via a loading slot. The door handle also includes integral trunnions for mounting the door handle pivotally on the support panel.

Vehicle door handle assembly

A vehicle door assembly that includes an outer panel and an inner panel which define a space in which hardware items are located. A trim panel including an inner door handle assembly is positioned on an inside of the inner panel. Connecting rods are positioned within the space and have a first end that is connected to a latch. The second end of the rod is connected to the inner door handle assembly. The rod is retained within a clip proximate to the second end of the rod. The clip allows for longitudinal movement of the rod while retaining the rod in the other two dimensions. This arrangement facilitates attachment of the inner door handle assembly and rod when the inner panel is installed.

Vehicle door assembly

A door for an automotive vehicle has an inner metal stamping and an outer metal stamping that are secured together along a perimeter to form a shell that includes an upper window frame and a lower hollow body and a window regulator that is part of a window module that is assembled to the shell. The window module includes a structural belt beam, a drive assembly, a rack, a window pane and a window guide channel. The window guide channel has a front run, a header and a rear run, the window guide channel being attached to structural belt beam so that the front run is attached to a forward end of the belt beam and the rear run is attached to a rearward end of the belt beam. The window pane has a front edge that travels in the front run and a rear edge that travels in the rear run. The rack is disposed in the rear run and attached to the rear edge of the window pane. The drive assembly is mounted in a rearward end portion of the structural belt beam by a bracket that supports a reversible electric motor. A pinion gear that is secured to an output shaft of the reversible electric motor meshes with the rack so that the window pane is raised and lowered by the reversible electric motor. The rack is made of a glass reinforced plastic and the pinion gear is made of a plastic coated powered metal to reduce noise and friction.

Rack and pinion window regulator

An automotive vehicle has a power operated moveable roof panel that moves between an open position above a fixed roof panel and a closed position behind the fixed roof panel. The moveable roof panel is guided by forward and rearward roller assemblies at each side that travel in respective forward and rearward tracks exclusively. The forward roller assemblies have forward rollers, rearward rollers and guide rollers that cooperate with drops in the forward tracks to push the moveable roof panel down in the closed position. The vehicle has an optional luggage rack and an optional interior partition between the passenger compartment and the cargo compartment that includes a moveable glass panel.
