An apparatus comprised of a first portion comprising a generally flexible fabric, and a second portion or layer comprising a gel material formed in a generally planar rectangular shape. Positioned below the second layer is a third portion or a damping layer having a series of dampers positioned thereon, where the dampers are elastomeric flexible and compressible. The three portions are laminated together.

Shock absorbing structure

A retrofit kit that upgrades an existing inkjet printing mechanism by replacing it with a more efficient and advanced light imaging mechanism. The kit includes a control module, a printhead module, and a retrofit printhead. The control module is operable to communicate with the existing command processor in order to receive a digital image. The retrofit printhead includes a means for emitting light onto an emulsion coated screen and is adapted to attach to and be integrated into an existing XY plotting system within the existing printer. The control module interfaces with the existing command processor to control the XY plotting system and the position of the retrofit printhead. The control module also interfaces with the printhead module to communicate and synchronize the amount of light to be emitted at each position; the printhead module thereafter controls the retrofit printhead to emit the determined amount of light at each position.

Stabilizer apparatus and method

A method for making a printing screen wherein a screen having an unexposed emulsion layer applied thereto is placed in a printing device, such as an ink jet printer, and a graphic is printed directly on the emulsion layer. The graphic is precisely and automatically positioned relative to the screen by orienting the screen with respect to the X, Y and Z printing axes of the printing device, alinging a selected location on the screen with a selected coordinate position on the X and Y printing axes and providing the printing device with data defining the graphic to be printed on the emulsion layer, data defining the dimensions of the screen, and data defining selected coordinates within the dimensions of the screen with which corresponding reference coordinates of the graphic are to register when the graphic is printed on the emulsion layer.
