The disclosed computer-implemented method may include (1) providing a plurality of media content groups, where each media content group includes a plurality of media content items, (2) providing a plurality of group indicators, where each group indicator corresponds with one of the media content groups, (3) providing a first navigational path linking the group indicators sequentially, (4) providing, for each media content group, a second navigational path linking the media content items of the corresponding media content group sequentially, (5) providing, for each media content group, a group entry point linking to one of the media content items of the corresponding media content group, and (6) presenting a graphical user interface that facilitates access to the media content items, and to the group indicators, using the first navigational path, the second navigational paths, and the group entry points. Systems and methods for extracting data from digital messages for digital group compositions may include (1) providing, to a user of a social media application, a consumption interface that displays social media posts from multiple different channels, (2) displaying, within the consumption interface, a series of one or more posts from a first channel, (3) once a final post from the series has been displayed, altering an appearance of the consumption interface to signal a transition from displaying the series of posts from the first channel to displaying an additional series of one or more posts from a second channel, and (4) upon altering the appearance of the consumption interface, displaying, within the consumption interface, the additional series of posts from the second channel.
