In an organic electroluminescent light emitting display device comprising a plurality of pixels each of which includes an organic electroluminescent element emitting light by a current supplied thereto, a plurality of active elements including a first active element which acquires a data signal and a second active element which regulates the current supplied to the organic electroluminescent element in accordance with the data signal, and a capacitive element storing the data signal, the present invention utilizes a part of the capacitive element arranged in one of the pixels for a light shielding member which shields the plurality of active elements arranged the one of the pixels from light emitted by the organic electroluminescent element arranged therein or another pixel adjacent thereto so as to suppress image quality deterioration and smear appearing in an image display area of the organic electroluminescent light emitting display device.

A display apparatus includes an image display region having pixels sectioned by scanning signal lines and video signal lines, scanning connecting lines, thin film transistors, selection signal lines connected to gate electrodes of the thin film transistors, plural ones of the thin film transistors connected to different ones of the scanning connecting lines being connected to one of the selection signal lines; and a scanning signal drive circuit. Provided is a liquid crystal display device, including: a plurality of scanning connection lines formed on at least one side of edges of the image display region, the plurality of scanning connection lines connecting together a scanning signal drive circuit and a plurality of scanning signal lines; a selection circuit formed so as to be interposed between the plurality of scanning connection lines and the plurality of scanning signal lines, the selection circuit being configured to selectively short-circuit one of a plurality of the scanning signal lines to one of the plurality of scanning connection lines based on a selection signal; and a selection signal line connected to the selection circuit, the selection signal line transmitting the selection signal to the selection circuit.

Liquid crystal display device

Provided is a liquid crystal display device, including: an array substrate; a plurality of pixels sectioned by video signal lines and scanning signal lines formed on the array substrate; a TFT arranged for each of the plurality of pixels; and a pixel electrode arranged inside each of the plurality of pixels. The TFT includes a channel semiconductor layer and the pixel electrode that are formed of a seamless layer made of an oxide semiconductor. The pixel electrode has an electrical conductivity larger than an electrical conductivity of the channel semiconductor layer under a state in which a gate voltage is not applied.

A display device comprises: data lines extending in a first direction; gate lines extending in a second direction, and being divided into groups each of which has the gate lines adjacent in the first direction; selection signal supplying wirings each of which is provided in each group, and connected to each control electrode of the selector transistors corresponding to the group; gate voltage supplying wirings connected to the other conductive electrode of each of the selector transistors corresponding to the group; and wherein a gate driver supplies a second gate voltage having a voltage level lower than that of a first gate voltage to at least one of the gate voltage supplying wirings in each of the groups before supplying the first gate voltage in order to turn on a pixel transistor disposed in an intersection portion of the data line and the gate line.

A display device includes an image display area that includes pixels sectioned by scanning signal lines and video signal lines, first scanning connection lines connected to scanning signal lines, first thin film transistors, first selection signal lines, second thin film transistors, second selection signal lines, and a scanning signal drive circuit connected to the first scanning connection lines, the first selection signal lines, and the second selection signal lines, wherein the scanning signal drive circuit sequentially supplies a pulse signal to the first scanning connection lines in a selection period in which a gate-on voltage is applied to the one of the first selection signal lines, and the scanning signal drive circuit applies a gate-off voltage to the one of the second selection signal lines corresponding to the one of the first selection signal lines to which the gate-on voltage is applied.

A first substrate of a display device includes a plurality of signal lines which are arranged in an image display area and a plurality of driving circuits which drive the plurality of signal lines, the driving circuit is electrically connected to a metal line which is formed in the first substrate in an area of the first substrate overlapping the driving circuit in planar view, the metal line is electrically connected via a contact hole, in the area, to a lead-out line which is formed in a layer different from that of the metal line in the first substrate, the lead-out line is extended to the outside of the area and electrically connected to the signal line.

A method of manufacturing a display device includes: forming a gate electrode on a substrate; forming a gate insulating film on the substrate; forming an oxide semiconductor on the substrate; forming a source electrode and a drain electrode on the substrate; forming a passivation film on the substrate; forming a common electrode on the substrate; forming an interlayer insulating film on the substrate; forming a pixel electrode on the substrate; forming an alignment film on the substrate; radiating UV-rays onto the oxide semiconductor; and heat-treating the oxide semiconductor irradiated with the UV-rays. The radiating UV-rays is performed after the forming an oxide semiconductor, and the heat-treating is performed after the forming a passivation film.

Method of manufacturing display device

Provided is an embedded touch screen, including: a first substrate; a second substrate including: scanning signal lines extending in a first direction; video signal lines extending in a second direction; a plurality of pixels each including a pixel electrode connected to corresponding one of the video signal lines via a switching element connected to corresponding one of the scanning signal lines; and a common electrode; a liquid crystal layer; an application circuit for applying an alternating signal to a plurality of excitation electrodes; a detection circuit for detecting a signal excited on a plurality of detection electrodes each arranged adjacent to each of the plurality of excitation electrodes; and a scanning circuit for scanning at least one of each of the plurality of excitation electrodes and each of the plurality of detection electrodes at least in the second direction.
