An input panel of a resistance layer type includes a first board having a first transparent conductive layer on its surface and a second board having a second transparent conductive layer on its surface. The first board and the second board are arranged such that the first transparent conductive layer faces the second transparent conductive layer. The input panel further includes first spacers arranged between the first board and the second board, the first spacers being non-conductive and having a height no greater than 14 .mu.m, and second spacers arranged between the first board and the second board among the first spacers, the second spacers being non-conductive and having a height no smaller than 15 .mu.m.

A touch panel to detect a coordinate of an arbitrary position where pressure is applied. The touch panel includes a substrate, a resistor layer provided on the substrate, a spacer layer made of an insulator material, a conductor layer confronting the resistor layer via the spacer layer, a plurality of point electrodes provided on the resistor layer at a peripheral part of the resistor layer along each side of the resistor layer, and a plurality of switching elements provided above the substrate and electrically coupled to the point electrodes for supplying a voltage to the point electrodes. The spacer layer is made up of a plurality of spacer pieces which are arranged so that an electrical contact is made between the conductor layer and the resistor layer when a pressure is applied at an arbitrary position on the conductor layer.

A reusable, heat transfer recording ink sheet using an ink containing, in addition to a colorant and a vehicle, ethylene/vinyl acetate-coated fine powders capable of being partially transferred to an inkreceiving recording medium for each transfer recording, the ethylene/vinyl acetate having a number average molecular weight of 30,000 or less and a vinyl acetate unit thereof being in the range of 18 to 45% by weight of the copolymer. The ink sheet ensures that prints having a sufficiently high density of print and an excellent fixing of the ink to the recording medium are obtained, together with a remarkably increased number of the repetitions of use of the sheet. A production process of the ink sheet is also provided.

Reusable ink sheet for use in heat transfer recording and production

A reusable, heat transfer recording ink sheet using an ink containing, in addition to a colorant and a vehicle, ethylene/vinyl acetate-coated fine powders capable of being partially transferred to an ink-receiving recording medium for each transfer recording, the ethylene/vinyl acetate having a number average molecular weight of 30,000 or less and a vinyl acetate unit thereof being in the range of 18 to 45% by weight of the copolymer.
