Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit compressed bitmap(s) to indicate preferred or non-preferred sidelink resources. A first UE may monitor a set of sidelink resources including a set of slots and subchannels for the slots and determine which resources are available for communications for a second UE. In some examples, the first UE may generate a bitmap indicating which slots have at least one subchannel that is unavailable, and, for each slot having at least one subchannel that is unavailable, a bitmap indicating which subchannels are unavailable for that slot. The first UE may transmit the bitmaps to the second UE. In some examples, the first UE may generate a bitmap indicating which slots have at least one subchannel that is available, and, for each slot having at least one subchannel that is available, a bitmap indicating which subchannels are available.

Signaling of a set of resources to support inter user equipment coordination

Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a device may obtain first one or more anchor-to-target round-trip time (RTT) measurements corresponding to one or more respective RTT operations between a first target user equipment (UE) and first one or more anchor devices. The device may obtain second one or more anchor-to-target RTT measurements corresponding to one or more respective RTT operations between a second target UE and second one or more anchor devices. The device may obtain a target-to-target RTT measurement corresponding to an RTT operation between the first target UE and the second target UE. The device may determine at least a first estimated position of the first target UE based on the first one or more anchor-to-target RTT measurements, the second one or more anchor-to-target RTT measurements, and the target-to-target RTT measurement.

Techniques for joint sidelink positioning

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may transmit, in a first slot within a channel occupancy time (COT), a first communication; determine whether one or more transmission criteria are satisfied for transmission of a second communication in a second slot within the COT; and selectively transmit the second communication in the second slot within the COT based at least in part on a result of determining whether the one or more transmission criteria are satisfied. Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating interruption handling in satellite-based communications are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes determining an interruption for a satellite-based communication link based in part on UE location information and blockage information of an obstruction that blocks LOS propagation for the satellite-based communication link. The example method also includes refraining performance of one or more communication link correction procedures for a time period associated with the interruption.

Techniques to handle interruption in satellite-based communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may detect an object and determine to share position information associated with the object with one or more UEs. The UE may select a reference entity detectable by one or more other UEs and determine the position of the detected object relative to the position of the selected reference entity. The UE may transmit, to one or more second UEs, a sensor sharing message that includes the position information of the object relative to the selected reference entity and an indication of the selected reference entity. The one or more second UEs may detect the position of the reference entity and determine the location of the detected object based on the position of the reference entity and the position of the detected object relative to the position of the reference entity.

Alternative coordinate system for sensor sharing

Sidelink (SL) positioning of user equipments (UEs) is supported by assigning priority values to SL positioning operations, e.g., transmission or reception of SL positioning reference signals (PRS). The priority value, for example, may be (pre-)configured or provided to the physical (PHY) layer from higher layers. The UE selects resources for the SL positioning operations based on at least the priority value. The UE may reserve resources for the SL positioning operations, for example, using Layer 1 (L1) and/or Layer 2 (L2) control operations or by transmitting an indication that other UEs are to avoid using the resources. The priority values for the SL positioning operations may be used to resolve in-device conflicts, such as when the SL positioning operations conflict with other sidelink or non-sidelink operations.

Resource selection and prioritization of sidelink positioning operations

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) (e.g., a vehicle, low-power sensor) may identify that the UE satisfies a set of conditions for a stationary state. The stationary state may be associated with a configuration for transmitting a position message (e.g., a basic safety message (BSM)) while the UE satisfies the stationary state. The UE may identify a periodicity at which to transmit the position message based on the UE satisfying the set of conditions for the stationary state, where the periodicity associated with a stationary state may be larger than a periodicity associated with a non-stationary state. The UE may transmit (e.g., broadcast) the position message over a sidelink in accordance with the configuration and based on identifying that the UE satisfies the set of conditions for the stationary state.

Techniques for configuring transmission of a position message

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for techniques for sensor data sharing. Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a first wireless device. The method generally includes receiving, from one or more sensors, corresponding one or more raw sensor data sets and transmitting, to a second wireless device, at least one message comprising information regarding an object detected based on processing the one or more raw sensor data sets, wherein the information includes one or more characteristics of the object derived based on processing the one or more raw sensor data sets, wherein: when one or more conditions are met, the information further includes at least one raw sensor data set of the one or more raw sensor data sets; and when the one or more conditions are not met, the information does not include any raw sensor data.

Conditional vehicle to everything (V2X) sensor data sharing

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a mobile station may transmit, from the mobile station to an encoding device, acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (ACK-NACK) feedback based at least in part on a transmission by the encoding device, wherein the ACK-NACK feedback is associated with a feedback bin, and wherein the feedback bin is associated with a location of the mobile station. The mobile station may receive, at the mobile station from the encoding device, a network coding transport block, wherein the network coding transport block is formed based at least in part on the transmission and the ACK-NACK feedback associated with the feedback bin. A first user equipment (UE) receives, via first sidelink resources from a second UE, a reservation message that includes an indication of second sidelink resources via which the first UE will subsequently receive a data packet. The first UE may at least one of: determine if the first UE is an intended recipient of the data packet, or compare a reference signal received power (RSRP) value of the reservation message to a threshold value. The first UE may transmit a first reservation forwarding message, via one or more third sidelink resources, including at least the indication of the second sidelink resources to at least a third UE in response to at least one of: determining that the first UE is the intended recipient of the data packet, or determining that the RSRP value is less than the threshold value. The first UE subsequently receives the data packet.

Techniques described herein provide for leader selection of a group of vehicles, based on inter-vehicle communications. According to embodiments, a host vehicle can determine it qualifies to be the leader of a potential group by comparing vehicle information of other cars in the potential group with its own vehicle information. Once the determination has been made, the host vehicle can then send a request to be the group leader to the other vehicles. If the other vehicles accept, the host vehicle can initiate group formation. Otherwise, another vehicle can reject the request and send its own request to become the group leader, reinitiating group leader negotiation until a group leader is determined.

Aspects relate to group-based positioning reference signal (PRS) broadcast in a wireless communication network. Wireless communication devices communicating over a sidelink channel in the wireless communication network may be grouped into one or more positioning groups. Within each positioning group, a respective order of the wireless communication devices in the positioning group may be identified. The wireless communication devices in a positioning group may then communicate PRSs therebetween over the sidelink channel based on the order of wireless communication devices in the positioning group.
