Sidelink (SL) positioning of user equipments (UEs) is supported by assigning priority values to SL positioning operations, e.g., transmission or reception of SL positioning reference signals (PRS). The priority value, for example, may be (pre-)configured or provided to the physical (PHY) layer from higher layers. The UE selects resources for the SL positioning operations based on at least the priority value. The UE may reserve resources for the SL positioning operations, for example, using Layer 1 (L1) and/or Layer 2 (L2) control operations or by transmitting an indication that other UEs are to avoid using the resources. The priority values for the SL positioning operations may be used to resolve in-device conflicts, such as when the SL positioning operations conflict with other sidelink or non-sidelink operations.

Resource selection and prioritization of sidelink positioning operations

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) (e.g., a vehicle, low-power sensor) may identify that the UE satisfies a set of conditions for a stationary state. The stationary state may be associated with a configuration for transmitting a position message (e.g., a basic safety message (BSM)) while the UE satisfies the stationary state. The UE may identify a periodicity at which to transmit the position message based on the UE satisfying the set of conditions for the stationary state, where the periodicity associated with a stationary state may be larger than a periodicity associated with a non-stationary state. The UE may transmit (e.g., broadcast) the position message over a sidelink in accordance with the configuration and based on identifying that the UE satisfies the set of conditions for the stationary state.

Techniques for configuring transmission of a position message

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for techniques for sensor data sharing. Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a first wireless device. The method generally includes receiving, from one or more sensors, corresponding one or more raw sensor data sets and transmitting, to a second wireless device, at least one message comprising information regarding an object detected based on processing the one or more raw sensor data sets, wherein the information includes one or more characteristics of the object derived based on processing the one or more raw sensor data sets, wherein: when one or more conditions are met, the information further includes at least one raw sensor data set of the one or more raw sensor data sets; and when the one or more conditions are not met, the information does not include any raw sensor data.

Conditional vehicle to everything (V2X) sensor data sharing

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a mobile station may transmit, from the mobile station to an encoding device, acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (ACK-NACK) feedback based at least in part on a transmission by the encoding device, wherein the ACK-NACK feedback is associated with a feedback bin, and wherein the feedback bin is associated with a location of the mobile station. The mobile station may receive, at the mobile station from the encoding device, a network coding transport block, wherein the network coding transport block is formed based at least in part on the transmission and the ACK-NACK feedback associated with the feedback bin. Numerous other aspects are described.

A first user equipment (UE) receives, via first sidelink resources from a second UE, a reservation message that includes an indication of second sidelink resources via which the first UE will subsequently receive a data packet. The first UE may at least one of: determine if the first UE is an intended recipient of the data packet, or compare a reference signal received power (RSRP) value of the reservation message to a threshold value. The first UE may transmit a first reservation forwarding message, via one or more third sidelink resources, including at least the indication of the second sidelink resources to at least a third UE in response to at least one of: determining that the first UE is the intended recipient of the data packet, or determining that the RSRP value is less than the threshold value. The first UE subsequently receives the data packet.

In some aspects, an apparatus of a vehicle may include one or more meta-surfaces disposed on one or more glass surfaces of the vehicle. Techniques described herein provide for leader selection of a group of vehicles, based on inter-vehicle communications. According to embodiments, a host vehicle can determine it qualifies to be the leader of a potential group by comparing vehicle information of other cars in the potential group with its own vehicle information. Once the determination has been made, the host vehicle can then send a request to be the group leader to the other vehicles. If the other vehicles accept, the host vehicle can initiate group formation. Otherwise, another vehicle can reject the request and send its own request to become the group leader, reinitiating group leader negotiation until a group leader is determined.

Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating a cloud-based vehicle XR user experience are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) includes transmitting a request for a vehicle extended reality (XR) session. The vehicle XR session may be based on a first user XR stream including a vehicle XR component associated with a vehicle and a first user XR component associated with a first user. The first user may have an association with the vehicle. The example method also includes transmitting uplink information associated with the first user XR stream. Techniques to facilitate a cloud-based vehicle XR experience

Aspects relate to group-based positioning reference signal (PRS) broadcast in a wireless communication network. Wireless communication devices communicating over a sidelink channel in the wireless communication network may be grouped into one or more positioning groups. Within each positioning group, a respective order of the wireless communication devices in the positioning group may be identified. The wireless communication devices in a positioning group may then communicate PRSs therebetween over the sidelink channel based on the order of wireless communication devices in the positioning group.

A user equipment (UE) may identify the UE is associated with a vehicle, such as being within the vehicle, or has established connectivity with the vehicle. The network entity may identify route data, safety data, or both. The network entity may transmit the route data, the safety data, or both to the UE.

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support vehicle alerting, such as in autonomous driving networks. Vehicle alerting may provide messages alerting other vehicles and/or network components to instances of autonomous driving disengagement. A vehicle operating according to an autonomous vehicle (AV) mode may transmit an over-the-air message to one or more other devices, such as nodes of an autonomous driving network, to alert the one or more devices to the vehicle disengaging the AV mode. A device receiving an autonomous disengagement message may alter one or more autonomous operation aspects in response to the over-the-air message. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A roadside unit (RSU) may transmit, to a first communication node, a request for multi-static sensing capability information associated with the first communication node. The RSU may receive a report indicating the multi-static sensing capability information for the first communication node. The RSU may transmit, in response to receiving the multi-static sensing capability information, a control message indicating one or more multi-static sensing parameters for the first communication node. The RSU may receive one or more multi-static sensing measurements obtained based at least in part on the one or more multi-static sensing parameters. The RSU may transmit, to the first communication node, a second communication node, or both, one or more channel estimates determined based at least in part on the one or more multi-static sensing measurements.

Multi-static sensing coordination

Multiple channels are aggregated. In an example embodiment, first data is transmitted on a first channel to a wireless device, and second data is simultaneously transmitted on a second channel to the wireless device. The first data and the second data are transmitted in a coordinated manner by aggregating the first channel and the second channel. Various example channel characteristics and combinations thereof are described. Different data allocation options for aggregated channels are described. In an aspect, a vehicle apparatus monitors, via a set of sensors communicatively coupled to the vehicle apparatus, a field of view (FOV) of the vehicle apparatus. The vehicle apparatus transmits, based on the monitoring, a first message that requests sensor data from one or more neighboring devices and indicates at least one sensor data filtering condition for the requested sensor data. A communication device receives the first message, and determines whether sensor data is available at the communication device which satisfies the at least one sensor data filtering condition for the requested sensor data. If so, the communication device filters its sensor data based on the at least one sensor data filtering condition, and transmits, to the vehicle apparatus, a second message including the filtered sensor data.

Methods and devices for operating a wireless communication device that can communicate with at least two different co-located APs are described. The device may receive, from a first AP, information corresponding to a second AP of the co-located APs. The information corresponding to the second AP may include state information of the second AP. The device may establish a first wireless link with the first AP using a first frequency of the first AP and establish a second wireless link with the second AP using a second frequency which is different than the first frequency. The device may simultaneously receive first data from the first AP and second data from the second AP.
