A sidelink communication method performed by a UE is provided. The method includes receiving from a base station a message including zone configuration information and resource pool configuration information and selecting a zone type mapped to a speed of the UE among zone types indicated by the zone configuration information. A zone identifier is determined based on configuration information of the selected zone type, the configuration information of the selected zone type being included in the zone configuration information. The sidelink communication is performed using a resource pool mapped to the zone identifier among resource pools indicated by the resource pool configuration information.

Method for configuring sidelink resources based on user equipment speed in communication system and apparatus for the same

An operation method of a first UE in a communication system is provided. The method includes transmitting to a second UE a an SL-SSB in an omni-directional scheme and transmitting the SL-SSB in a beamforming scheme when a response message for the SL-SSB transmitted in the omni-directional scheme is not received from the second UE. An operation method of a PM participating in platooning in a communication system is provided. The method includes receiving, from a PL participating in the platooning, information regarding beam configuration between the PL and a base station and determining a beam reception range based on a first receiving direction of the PL. The method further includes measuring a signal quality of a first transmission beam of the base station by changing a receiving direction of the PM within the beam reception range and determining a receiving direction in which the first transmission beam has a best signal quality as a final receiving direction.

An operation method of a terminal located in a vehicle supporting vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication may include: receiving, from a base station, a first message requesting reporting of a first counter corresponding to a channel busy ratio (CBR) measurement cycle for a carrier (re)selection procedure; transmitting, by the terminal, a second message including the first counter to the base station; and receiving, from the base station, a third message including a second counter corresponding to a CBR measurement cycle for a resource pool (re)selection procedure. The second counter can be reconfigured by the base station to be greater than or equal to the first counter.
