An X-ray CT system of an embodiment includes an X-ray scanner including an X-ray generator that performs X-ray imaging by scanning around a subject that is placed on a bed top and an X-ray detector. The X-ray scanner performs X-ray imaging while the bed top and the X-ray scanner are being reciprocated relative to each other in a first direction along the longitudinal direction of the bed top and a second direction opposite thereto. The X-ray CT system further includes a comparator that compares the positions of the bed top when a predetermined number of views are acquired in a plurality of times of X-ray imaging in the first direction or in a plurality of times of X-ray imaging in the second direction.

X-ray CT system

Disclosed is an X-ray tube that has a simple configuration and is capable of irradiating multiple different X-rays while switching them at a high rate, as well as an X-ray CT device using the X-ray tube. The X-ray tube comprises first and second electron generators, a deflection means, and a target. The deflection means switches the direction in which first and second electron beams are transmitted between first and second directions. The target comprises first, second, third, and fourth surfaces. The first surface receives a first electron beam transmitted toward the first direction and irradiates a first X-ray toward the irradiation field. The second surface receives a second electron beam transmitted toward the first direction and irradiates a second X-ray toward a direction different from the irradiation field. The third surface receives a first electron beam transmitted toward the second direction and irradiates the first X-ray toward a direction different from the predetermined irradiation field. The fourth surface receives a second electron beam transmitted in the second direction and irradiates the second X-ray toward the irradiation field.

X-ray tube and X-ray CT device

According to one embodiment, a support mechanism movably supports the table top. A bed driver generates driving power to be supplied to the support mechanism to move the table top. An imaging mechanism includes a mechanism for acquiring medical image data associated with a subject placed on the table top. An ascending switch receives an ascending instruction for the table top. A descending switch receives a descending instruction for the table top. A storage unit stores the height of the table top at the time of the issuance of an ascending instruction as a target return position. When a descending instruction is issued, a bed controller controls the bed driver to descend the table top to the target return position stored in the storage unit.

An exposure condition processing method for an X-ray CT apparatus according to the embodiment includes: a step in which a first X-ray emitting condition and a second X-ray emitting condition for the X-ray CT apparatus are input to a processor; a step in which the processor, based on the first X-ray emitting condition and the second X-ray emitting condition, acquires interval times for switching the first X-ray scanning with the first X-ray emitting condition, and the second X-ray scanning with the second X-ray emitting condition; a step in which the processor, based on the rotation speed of a gantry in the X-ray CT apparatus that is previously stored in a memory and the interval times, calculates the frequency of intermittent emission of an X-ray, with respect to the rotation speed of the gantry.

Exposure condition processing method of X-ray CT apparatus and X-ray CT apparatus

In an X-ray Computed Tomography apparatus according to an embodiment, an angle determining unit determines an angle indicating a position of an X-ray radiation unit in a circular orbit at a moment to start radiation after a return of reciprocation, based on a time from a moment of completion of radiation in a movement to a certain direction until a moment to start radiation in a movement after the return, which is a time calculated from scanning conditions. A radiation control unit controls radiation by the X-ray radiation unit so as to start in accordance with the angle determined by the angle determining unit.

X-ray CT apparatus and method of controlling thereof

An X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray generator and an X-ray detector. The X-ray generator and the X-ray detector rotate about a subject. A controller controls the timing of exposing X-rays from the X-ray generator. The controller controls the collection timing for the projection data used by the X-ray detector and causes the X-ray detector to continuously collect the projection data at the specified collection timing. The controller causes additional information representing the state of exposure of the X-rays to be added to each projection data that has been collected by the X-ray detector at said specified collection timing.

X-ray CT apparatus and a method of controlling the X-ray CT apparatus

The supporter supports a patient and is disposed movably along the body axis direction of said patient. The imaging part includes an X-ray-generator and an X-ray-detector. The X-ray-generator irradiates X-rays while rotating around the body axis. The X-ray-detector detects the X-rays that have permeated the patient. The collimator changes the irradiation field of the X-rays to be irradiated. The scan controller controls the movement of the supporter and the imaging part. The image-reconstructing part reconstructs image data based on the X-rays that have been detected by the X-ray detector. The movement amount-detector detects the amount of movement of the patient by the supporter. The collimator controller controls so as to change the size of the opening of the collimator based on the amount of movement.
