According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a light source configured to emit light that includes a first wavelength band and a second wavelength band; a first color filter configured to transmit light in the first wavelength band; a second color filter configured to transmit light in the second wavelength band; a first photodiode configured to receive light transmitted through the first color filter; and a second photodiode configured to receive light transmitted through the second color filter.

Detection device and imaging device

A display device is provided and includes display unit comprising common electrodes two dimensionally arrayed on substrate, drive signal lines configured to transmit drive signals for touch detection to common electrodes, and switch circuit comprising transistors connected to drive signal lines to select at least one common electrode; flexible substrate connected to substrate; pads at connections of flexible substrate and substrate; and touch detection circuit configured to transmit drive signals to common electrodes, wherein: transistors comprises: first transistor connected to first electrode of common electrodes via first wiring of first length; and second transistor connected to second electrode of common electrodes via second wiring of second length; channel width of first transistor is narrower than channel width of second transistor; drive signal lines are respectively connected to pads separated at two or more positions.

Display device

According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a substrate; a plurality of first electrodes arranged on a first principal surface of the substrate; a plurality of photodiodes provided corresponding to the first electrodes, and each including a first carrier transport layer, an active layer, and a second carrier transport layer; a second electrode provided across the photodiodes; a backlight provided on a second principal surface side opposite to the first principal surface of the substrate; a plurality of light-blocking layers provided between the backlight and the photodiodes; and a light-transmitting area formed between adjacent light-blocking layers of the light-blocking layers.

Detection device

In one embodiment, a display device includes a display area, a peripheral area, scanning lines, signal lines, a first driver in the peripheral area, and a second driver in the peripheral area. The display area has an arc-shaped corner. The first driver includes first and second buffers configured to apply voltage to the scanning lines, a first shift register unit configured to control the first buffer unit, and a second shift register unit configured to control the second buffer unit. At the corner, extension directions of the first buffer unit and the first shift register unit are equal to each other. Extension directions of the second buffer unit and the second shift register unit are different from each other.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first common electrode and a second common electrode arranged in a first direction, a first switch unit selectively supplying a first drive signal or a second drive signal different from the first drive signal to the first common electrode, and a second switch unit selectively supplying the first drive signal or the second drive signal to the second common electrode, wherein the second common electrode and the first switch unit are arranged in a second direction intersecting the first direction, the first switch unit comprises a first switch circuit and a second switch circuit arranged in the second direction.

According to an aspect, a display device includes: a substrate; a plurality of pixels provided to the substrate; a light-emitting element and a transistor provided to each of the pixels; an insulating film covering the transistor; a mounting electrode provided on the insulating film and on which the light-emitting element is mounted; and an anode electrode facing at least a part of the mounting electrode and electrically coupled to the transistor. The insulating film has a first groove extending along at least one side of an outer periphery of the mounting electrode in plan view seen from a direction perpendicular to the substrate. The mounting electrode is coupled to the anode electrode in a linear part along an extending direction of the first groove at a bottom surface of the first groove.

According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a first detection circuit including a first photodiode sensitive to first light and a second photodiode sensitive to second light; and a second detection circuit including a third photodiode sensitive to third light. The first photodiode and the second photodiode are coupled in series and in opposite directions to form a first detection element. One end side of the first detection element is coupled to a first signal line via a first transistor. Another end side of the first detection element is configured to be supplied with a first drive signal. A cathode of the third photodiode is coupled to a second signal line via a second transistor. An anode of the third photodiode is configured to be supplied with a second drive signal.

Detection device comprising photodiodes with stacked organic semiconductor layers

A display device includes a plurality of first sub-pixels configured to display red, a plurality of second sub-pixels configured to display green, a plurality of third sub-pixels configured to display blue, and a plurality of fourth sub-pixels configured to display white, a first signal line coupled to the first sub-pixels, a second signal line coupled to the second sub-pixels, and a third signal line coupled to the third sub-pixels and the fourth sub-pixels, a plurality of detection electrodes arrayed in a matrix (row-column configuration) and each provided overlapping the first sub-pixels, the second sub-pixels, the third sub-pixels, and the fourth sub-pixels, and a plurality of signal supply wires coupled to the respective detection electrodes. The signal supply wires are each provided overlapping at least one of the first signal line and the second signal line and not overlapping the third signal line.

According to an aspect, a detection device includes: photodiodes provided on a substrate; transistors corresponding to the photodiodes; a first organic insulating film that covers the transistors; first electrodes that are between the first organic insulating film and the photodiodes in a direction orthogonal to the substrate and are provided corresponding to the photodiodes; a second electrode provided so as to extend across the photodiodes; an insulating film between adjacent first electrodes, and a second organic insulating film that covers an inside of a contact hole provided in the first organic insulating film. The photodiodes includes a first carrier transport layer, an active layer, and a second carrier transport layer that are stacked on the substrate. The first carrier transport layer, the active layer, and the second carrier transport layer are provided so as to cover each of the first electrodes, the insulating film, and the second organic insulating film.

A display device includes a first transistor provided with an oxide semiconductor layer, a first gate electrode facing the oxide semiconductor layer and a first gate insulating layer between the oxide semiconductor layer and the first gate electrode, a first transparent conductive layer in contact with the oxide semiconductor layer in a first contact area not overlapping the first gate electrode in a plan view, and a second transparent conductive layer connected to the first transparent conductive layer in a second contact area overlapping the first gate electrode in a plan view and provided in a display area of the pixel.

According to an aspect, a liquid crystal display panel includes an extending portion. The extending portion is metal wiring provided on the same plane as a plane parallel to a surface of a TFT substrate on which a scan line extends in the X-direction, and is electrically conductive metal extending from the scan line. The extending portion partially overlaps a space, but does not overlap an opening area, in the Z-direction.

Liquid crystal display panel

According to an aspect, a display device includes: a first substrate having a first side and a second side opposed to the first side; a display region provided with pixels; a first partial peripheral region between the first side and the display region; a second partial peripheral region between the second side and the display region; a plurality of signal lines configured to supply signals to switching elements in the pixels; a plurality of first terminals provided in the first partial peripheral region and configured to be electrically coupled to a driver integrated circuit; a plurality of second terminals provided in the second partial peripheral region and configured to be supplied with signals for inspection; and a first coupling circuit provided between the first terminals and the display region in the first partial peripheral region and configured to switch between coupling and decoupling the signal lines and the second terminals.

Display device and substrate of display device

A display device includes a substrate, first electrodes, second electrodes, and a driver. The first electrodes are disposed in a matrix (row-column configuration) in a display region of the substrate. The second electrodes are disposed in a peripheral region on the outside of the display region of the substrate. The driver supplies a drive signal to the first electrodes and the second electrodes. The first electrodes output detection signals corresponding to self-capacitance changes in the first electrodes. The second electrodes output detection signals corresponding to self-capacitance changes in the second electrodes.

Display device with wires overlapping electrodes

According to one embodiment, a transistor substrate includes a substrate, a light source and a sensor element. The light source is mounted on the substrate. The sensor element is mounted on the substrate. The sensor element includes a pixel electrode, a switching element, a common electrode and an organic photo detector layer. The switching element is electrically connected to the pixel electrode. The common electrode is opposed to the pixel electrode. The organic photo detector layer is provided between the pixel electrode and the common electrode. The light source is provided in a same layer as the organic photo detector layer.

Transistor substrate and manufacturing method

According to an aspect, a detection device includes a plurality of optical sensors arranged on a substrate. Each of the optical sensors includes a first photodiode and a second photodiode that is coupled in series and in an opposite direction to the first photodiode.
