A subsea fluid processing system which receives a wellstream flow. The subsea fluid processing system includes a pressure control device which regulates a pressure of the wellstream flow, a gas-liquid separator unit which receives the wellstream flow downstream of the pressure control device and which provides a liquid stream and a gas stream, a first membrane separator which receives the gas stream and which provides a retentate stream and a permeate stream, a compressor which receives the permeate stream and which provides a compressed permeate stream, and a discharge cooler which receives the compressed permeate stream and which provides a cooled compressed permeate stream for injection into a subsurface reservoir. A density of the cooled compressed permeate stream is higher than a density of the compressed permeate stream.

Subsea fluid processing system

A device for separating liquid from gas in a well flow when compressing the well flow comprises a liquid separator (') having an inlet () for the well flow, an outlet () for gas and an outlet () for liquid. According to the invention separated liquid from the liquid separator (&#x2032;) is fine-divided in connection with the liquid outlet (), and the fine-divided liquid is supplied into the gas outlet () at a mixing point () downstream the liquid separator (&#x2032;) and upstream a compressor ().

Protection system for subsea seawater injection pumps

A method utilizes the energy of water that flows out from a high-pressure reservoir. Water and hydrocarbons are separated in a down-hole separator and are brought separately to the seabed. In a first aspect the energy of the water is utilized to inject the water into an underground formation with a lower pressure. In a second aspect the energy is utilized to drive a turbine which in turn is driving a pump for pressurizing hydrocarbons. The invention utilizes a method and an arrangement to control the separator by control valves on the well head for each phase.

Subsea production system

A method and an arrangement for separating oil and water by means of a two-phase liquid/liquid separator. The oil phase and the water phase respectively are separated over a portion of the length of the separator from an upstream end to a downstream end. The oil phase and the water phase respectively are extracted gradually over a length of the separator, and each of the phases is conducted out of the separator separately. Outlet arrangement for down-hole separator

A separator assembly for use &ldquo;downhole&rdquo; in an oil well, comprising an elongate body member including longitudinally extending oil and water passages, the elongate body member defining a longitudinally extending mounting face to which at least one hydrocyclone is secured, the hydrocyclone having its axis extending generally longitudinally of the elongate body, a first connecting union at the overflow end of the hydrocyclone whereby the overflow outlet of the hydrocyclone communicates with the oil passage of the body member, a second connecting union at the underflow end of the hydrocyclone whereby the underflow outlet of the hydrocyclone communicates with the water passage of the elongate body member, and, connecting means at opposite axial ends respectively of the elongate body member for establishing communication with the oil and water passages respectively.
